iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I always forget which year it was, but there’s an entire year of CC episodes where that thing was hidden in exactly 1 shot of every episode. Which amused me if nothing else.

Ah yeah, those panels would be a pain for me to make without physically having one of them to measure since they’re where several other bits converge. I’d probably make a 3D printed replacement very differently. But yeah, some gap filling should absolutely work fine there.

Genuinely love setting up little scenes for b-roll in videos. Motivates me to actually make/paint terrain way more than needing to use it in games, if I’m honest.

Painted up the ‘Not a Kobold’ mini I got from Blightbones at Spru. Experimented with drybrushing blue over purple to get some interesting undertones. Pretty happy with it but definitely room for improvement. 61st mini painted in 2026.

A miniature of a blue dragon-y thing with a nervous look on its face.

When people say the Chauchat is cursed that's not really what they mean. #art #trenchcrusade

A woman in a black and horizon blue uniform standing with an open grimoire in one hand and a skull in the other, with an automatic rifle burning with demonic energy slung across her shoulders.
She has short blond hair, blue eyes, freckled pale skin and tattoos of a snake and barbed wire visible on her chest through her unbuttoned shirt. Her light blue uniform greatcoat is worn open and features decorative white facings, matching her forage cap and contrasting with her black trousers tucked into white spats. A black Adrian helmet bearing a wedjat eye insignia is there for belt clutter. Fucking love belt clutter.
The grimoire she's holding open in her right hand is cascading with fabric bookmarks stamped with wax seals.

Wasn't able to really do any STL stuff for the last month since I'd been indisposed in various ways. I am now back on my bullshit and starting to make headway on an expansion kit for the Aggro Ute. 7 new parts made so far. Many, many more to go!

So I got some of the work needed done. But I need to undergo a CT Scan before they can remove one of my problem teeth (due to it possibly being right on the nerve), which will be expensive so um... Did you know if you support us on Patreon you get access to exclusive content and a discord server?

I tried to capture the unsettling vacant stare of the originals hah

Went with the green scheme for the armoured dude because he gave me Plague Marine vibes so that kind of palette felt right, and the long Furby was painted to match one of the fur patterns the 90s ones had.

Been a while since I got some numbers on the board but I finished a couple of minis I picked up at Spru. A power armoured guy from Grim Hive Miniatures and a long furby from @somnderian.bsky.social. My 59th and 60th minis painted in 2026.

A painted miniature of a chunky power armoured guy with a mace.

The 2 minis alongside an RTB01 Warhammer 40K Space Marine (for size comparison)

I am vastly oversimplifying there, of course, but I suppose it just goes to show that being ahead of the curve is only good when the curve isn't diving headfirst into the 21st century resurgence of fascism.

Watching Soylent Green has lead me to reading Charlton Heston's Wikipedia page and it's wild how one person can be both 'a vocal civil rights advocate in the 60s' and 'a harbinger of the modern right-wing culture war'. He was like a Krusty doll that someone flipped the good/evil switch of in 1972.

Got back from the band getaway yesterday and was able to sit down an paint some minis for a first time in a while. Threw some movies on whilst I was doing it and let me tell you, Soylent Green, THX 1138, and Babylon 5: A Call to Arms was a very odd trio of things to watch whilst painting a Furby.

Need some Data/Feedback from #30k #HorusHeresy #warhammercommunity for what m'working on at the mo'! HH 3rd Ed, how are you finding the changes to LD & the intro of WP, IN & CL stats? Have they added granularity, new pain points, do they feel clunky, meh or have you been enjoying them? Let me know!

A Warhammer 40,000 meme. A Yellow Space Marine of the Imperial Fists Chapter, holds a model vindicator siege tank tank is his right hand & is turned towards the camera, his body angled away but his red helmet with white stripe directly addressing the onlooker.

If you've been kicked in the head by a horse enough to think LLMs are sentient then you should also be against nearly every way they're being used. But you don't see many of these disingenuous fucks make a stink about making them pretend to be Hatsune Miku and cybering with strangers now do you?
