I put this to you, Bluesky: As a kid, all recipes were baked at 350 for an hour. Now everything is put in the oven at 425 for 25-35 minutes. Did we just get less scared about food poisoning, or did we realize we were making everything dry and tasteless?

Been having a lot of Thoughts and Feelings™ about my body between long-Covid, diabetes, chronic migraines, and having my appendix poison me and need emergency surgery to remove, and all of it happening in the last year (-migraines) means tbh I’ve felt kinda betrayed by my body and not sexy at all.

The other day, I was out for a Dr.'s appointment and took public transportation and got there VERY early, but it was raining, so I went into a coffee shop and bought a coffee to have a place to sit for 40 minutes out of the rain, and didn't realize until later I had spent part of my bus fare home.

Envelope method/physical boundaries between spending categories have worked "best" in the past. Still, with poor credit, multiple bank accounts/credit cards to wall off spending isn't an option, and my bank is too far away to make frequent trips to withdraw/deposit cash on a routine basis.

Alright y'all: crowdsourcing budgeting tips/hacks/resources for someone with both #ADHD and terrible credit (ruined by an ex and still sorting out) because I've tried a lot of conventional methods and they don't work with me, and so much is digital that the envelope method isn't practical anymore.

#ADHD is hard. The last two months or so I have felt really not in control of my symptoms or, well, anything really. But there were not as many demonstrable reminders of that until I got into houseplants. It REALLY DOES NOT HELP the extreme negative self-talk/self-berating I’ve been doing. 😞
