In fact, the cost of football is quite high there in comparison to other things. Top teams aside, division one averaged about £40-£60 a ticket and div 2 was about £20-£30 If you weren’t a “socio”. Yet food / drink was cheesy! 000

Sounds disgusting. It weren’t. A sort of sweet but not-too-sweet stepping stone. The final dessert was an indulgent choc tart with plum sorbet. 140

A banger. The final main was Yorkshire duck. Aged for a week, with a cherry jus and poached jersey royal. Got a duck dumpling too, made from confit leg. Cor! 120
