the CDD ripped Alex & two of our Black engineering teachers from Camden (92% students of color & 2x the size of north) & sent them to North where they were all laid off due to low enrollment. district leadership will close schools & STILL continue to starve Northside Black children of resources.

I'm not speaking for the Duluth Central Labor Body, but guests are generally welcome at the monthly meeting. In the eight years I've been a delegate, Zack is the guest I've seen most at those meeting. As a city councilor, he would show up & just ask if anyone had something they wanted to talk about.

“I have a hard time listening to a conversation about resources in a community that’s constantly experiencing limited resources and doing amazing work,” he said. “Who are the district leaders that are going to stand up for Black children in this community specifically? i started something new this year, im doing “on this day” mini history lessons, mostly on Black U.S. history. in 3 weeks my students have been introduced to so many amazing Black leaders. yesterday was Satchel Paige pitching 3 innings for the A’s at 59 y/o! none of my 9th graders had heard of him!!
