Any sweeping systemic change you want to make in the United States has to begin with adding seats to the Supreme Court in 2029. No major reform bill will survive the current court. No civil rights law, no anti-corruption law, no wealth tax, nothing.

Orwell: a boot stamping on a human face, forever. ICE’s new device, the G.L.O.V.E., drives 380 volts into bare skin under a no-bid, $20M contract. No spark, no barbs, no published oversight. Just a hand closing on a wrist and a body folding in pain no camera can prove. #art

The Trump administration is continuing its quest to do away with offshore wind energy. A German company (RWE U.S. Offshore) said that it has entered into a $1.22B settlement agreement with the Interior Dept to give up plans to build wind farms off the coasts of New York, California and Louisiana.

Today is the 61st anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, which the Supreme Court has eviscerated. The Court’s antidemocratic rulings — and its lack of accountability — demonstrate why Congress should enact term limits for justices. bit.ly/458NyoF

Russia’s escalating missile strikes now include North Korean KN-23s again, built with Russian battlefield data. Ukraine’s Patriot interceptors, the only defense against them, have gone undelivered since February, redirected to the Iran war. #art

America’s concentration camps must be shut down now They are sites of horror: torture, rampant spread of infectious diseases, inadequate sanitation, hygiene, & medical care, & a mounting death toll Just as “better training of guards” wasn’t the answer to Auschwitz, you can’t “reform” these camps

Fauci pled the Fifth before Congress this week. Not really about him. It’s a warning to any scientist who contradicts this administration: step out of line, face prison. Convenient timing too, with Iran, inflation, and Epstein files all needing a distraction. My 2020 print, revisited. #art

IT’S TIME FOR BLUE STATES TO FIGHT BACK. HARD. Why are we funding a federal government that openly punishes states for not voting for Trump? The Trump administration admitted in court it canceled nearly $8 billion in clean energy grants because the states didn’t vote for him. Blue states only.
