The Environment Agency has just issued an advice against bathing at East Looe due to a sewage pollution incident. Earlier this evening South West Water also reported a combined sewer overflow activation for the same beach, which may or may not be related. #SewagePollution

According to South West Water's #WaterFitLive map the St. Merryn storm overflow at Harlyn in North Cornwall has now been in operation for a day and a bit. However, the #WestDevonCSO database shows the CSO has been operating almost continuously since January 20th: Cc: @benmaguiremp.bsky.social 7/
