Jessie the monkey all together! This has been a labor of love over the past 2.5 years off-and-on meant to challenge myself to make a fullsuit for the first time. I tried a lot of new things, some of which I probably won't do again, but overall...

Tail for Vortex the raven Minky top, fleece bottom because I ran out of minky & didn't feel like waiting. First time topstitching anything that isn't pawpads. Wish I had added some flexible plastic boning but it holds up. Not as wrinkly when worn due to curvature. Pattern by me

Finished his handpaws/talons today just in time for Bay Bark Bash 😀 I'm jazzed about how they turned out. Hand pattern by @nubbytailpup.bsky.social ! I couldn't have asked for a better pattern or tutorial for these. It's perfect for all hand talon needs!

One (1) bird hand Pattern by Finch Factory Fursuits / @nubbytailpup.bsky.social I didn't end up topstitching them bc I have to finish this set for something coming up! & I just didn't feel like figuring out the settings on my machine for minky with interfacing 😅 #FursuitFriday

Pair 2 is mostly finished. I modified the markings slightly for this pair and didn't leave any seam allowance. Pattern by @skyprocostumes.bsky.social I rushed these over the past few days so they'd be done in time for the Megaplex Picnic and a Renaissance festival. Happy #FursuitFriday >:)

Oh yeah I made some werewolf feetpaws and handpaws to go with my head and tail by Magpiebones a couple months ago. The feet are compatible with some converse! I wore them with the tongues tho unlike the modeled photos.

I hadn't been able to grow out my hair since my senior year of high school. I found a trichotillomania therapist and... yeah. Progress. The longest and fullest it's been in 8 years. Idk how to style it as it grows out so I've been experimenting with gel lol

Stunned. This article has turned several of my beliefs upside down. It's even fun to read. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

“All animals are conscious”: Shifting the null hypothesis in consciousness science

The marker approach is taken as best practice for answering the distribution question: Which animals are conscious? However, the methodology can be used to increase confidence in animals many presume....
