If I venture up to town the week before Remembrance day, I always sport both models. White for all casualties of war; and red for the military. That makes it perfectly possible to use both symbols for their original message. Probably won't be going to town this year. Town being Crowborough 🙄

I think it's absolutely mad that today there's a *national news story* about 400 oil platform workers losing their jobs, and the government being blamed. 25% of the UK TV industry lost their jobs in the last 4 years and we never hear a peep about it! Some jobs are 'real jobs' I guess.

Companies pay employer national insurance (ENI) on director pay. Partners in limited liability partnerships (LLPs) share profit, instead of salary. LLPs don't pay ENI on that. £150k ENI for every £1m of profit shared is avoided. Big four law firms alone avoided paying £4bn. Must end this perk.

This post is very personal and relates to my grand daughter who was diagnosed with Cancer, aged 3 last year. When the chemotherapy started she lost all her hair which really scared her, and my daughter decided to write a book for her and other children to offer comfort and hope. 1/3
