Please please please!! Cuba Street is most vibrant when it’s locked off from traffic. Wellingtonians have been talking for years about how much better this part of town would be if it was only for pedestrians. Let’s do it!!

Just finished this wonderful book by @henrygrabar.bsky.social. It put into words that feeling you have when you look around a street and see empty cars take up more space than anything else. Grab it from the Wellington City Library and we would have shared a copy!

Okay but not only is the Ministry of Works an effective way to build for the future, but this *logo*. I’m dying for it. It’s giving the New Zealand version of the NASA worm. Shitty logos in government give off the vibe that quality doesn’t matter. Bring back these GEMS we used to have
