One of the realizations that radicalized me most was when it finally clicked that those who agree to submit themselves in service to building the wealth of one out of a dozen or so men are rewarded with a fraction of the value of their labor, allowing them to afford some security and safety, but...

Haven't really mentioned this on any social media yet, but I'm finally going back to college this year. Definitely worried about feeling a little out of place as a 31-year-old in undergrad courses, but I want to finally get a degree now that I have a much better idea of what I want to pursue.

Critics pick up on the intentional commentary Hazbin and Helluva make and the questions they raise, and then act like it’s all just a fluke that won’t be addressed again. The flaws in the system within the setting don’t stop being intentional just because the story doesn’t address them immediately.

You do not have to like VivziePop, but acting like the Hellverse's success is somehow despite it being her creation rather than because of it is insane. She is a writer on all but ONE of the most popular episodes of BOTH series. The characters are strongest when she's the one behind the wheel.

Quick disclaimer: never been into MLM/yaoi, so I'm probably not the target demo here, but... I'm not against Stolitz as a ship, but I am very much in the camp of "Blitzø and Stolas COULD be healthy together, but they need to gtfo of each others' lives and work through their personal issues first."

Whoops, kinda 1CC'd Touhou 6 Classic on Normal lol. I got it on Switch for the novelty, so I'm still trying to get used to using a controller instead of keyboard. I also haven't touched EoSD in about two years, so I didn't expect to clear it in just a few hours. Touhou on console is fun, though :)

Lyn @weirdyoukaigirl.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Finally cleared Touhou 10 Mountain of Faith's Extra. I've only been doing attempts for the past four days or so, but I'd tried 1CCing Normal on MoF a bunch around fifteen years ago and just could not. Decided to pick it up again six days ago, and I was able to get both that 1CC and Extra clear :)

Picture taken of my laptop of the post-fight dialogue with Suwako in Touhou 10 Mountain of Faith. Reimu's textbox reads, "Hmmm, but danmaku is an everyday thing..."

The Score and HiScore are 128485280 points. Player count shows two lives remaining. Power is at 0.10.

This has probably been mentioned elsewhere, but... (Spoilers for Metroid Dread) The cutscene with Raven Beak in the Metroid Ravenous trailer is likely Samus tapping into Quiet Robe's memories of Raven Beak's arrival on SR388 through the X-parasite she absorbed at the end of Dread.

Wild Kirby theory: The opening of World Beyond actually takes place on Popstar, and it's revealed that these artificial boundaries showcased in the trailer are actually intended to cloak settlements of the Ancients first formed eons ago from the native inhabitants of the Dreamland universe.

Getting the feeling that Fusion, Dread, and Ravenous are all intended to be part of the same story arc for Samus. Fusion starts with her as the disempowered and hunted, Dread has her become the hunter and reject any control exerted on her by others, and Ravenous has her relishing in that new power.

I personally don't think a Majora's Mask S2 remake is anywhere near guaranteed. Majora's releases sell roughly half of OoT's equivalent releases, and I'd imagine even with asset re-use, recreating Majora at this level of fidelity would still be pretty time-consuming and expensive.

Lyn @weirdyoukaigirl.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Weird millennial opinion: Uncanny character design in Zelda is a good thing, and I was really happy to see that effort was clearly put toward preserving that aspect of OoT in the remake. It'd be a lot easier to simply have just prettied up all the character designs. I'm glad they chose not to.

Dialect stuff is funny because while I lived most of my life in the suburbs in the South, I was completely neglected socially, so mine ended up being a mix of the dialects commonly seen in television and movies and whatever dialects were prevalent among Nintendo Let's Players in the mid-late 2000s.

Remember, back then, when everything was great, and you could play your Jak and Daxter on the PS2 while mommy brought you some yummy cookies? But now things are tough, and mommy is gone. Is it because you aren't a child anymore? No, it must be because of all those scary foreigners and mean women :(

If your "gender neutral" toy brand marketing includes shades of every color but has a keen aversion to anything pink or purple, you're just doing "man as the default." Gender neutral marketing means letting the boys in your ads play with toys in "girly" colors. Without them being ridiculed for it.

The Speaker's primary role is to ensure the order governing the afterlife as decided by the elders of Heaven remains absolute and unchanged. The counsel she gives Sera isn't for Sera's benefit but because the Speaker knows that when Sera looks within, she will find only what the elders instilled.

Cannot stress this enough to Hazbin fans jumping on the Lesbian Space Princess hate bandwagon: The groups you are allying with despise you and are just tolerating your presence for the sake of getting to dogpile on an easier LGBT+ target. Once they get bored, you'll be right back in the crosshairs.

To her family and the sinners of Hell, she is loved and missed. To Heaven, she is a threat. And to the fans? She is split in two: Good wife/mother and misjudge queen, a traitor and a villain to others. She’s a mystery wrapped in darkness. #lilithmorningstar #hazbinhotel #hellaverse #vivziepop

Cheating a bit, but I always wished we got more Hordak and Entrapta development after Season 3 of She-Ra. I understand why there wasn't enough room for it narratively, and I adore what little we did get, but I ended up so invested in them on my first watch only to be hit by such a long drought lol.

watched Lesbian Space Princess, and p much as I expected, it's an very earnest first-time effort from a small indie team with some authentic heart, a couple of sequences that maybe shoulda been rethought, and not super great editing. it was made Hate Object Du Jour because it's queer. that's all.

Very telling that one these characters has not even had a single line of dialogue yet. Probably purely a coincidence that one of her only known defining character moments so far involves her refusal to submit to a man.

Decided to watch Lesbian Space Princess because it is the current "thing" that the terminally online right has rested its crosshairs on. It's like... an alright 6/10 that's a pretty fun watch when you're kind of drunk or want something very unserious. 6/10s have an important place in queer media.

Lilith's views on sinners and the implied culpability the elders of Heaven share in the sinners' fates for refusing to humanely accommodate for anything falling outside the narrow scope of the order they believe is paramount to maintain will be a big decisive factor in my overall opinion of Hazbin.
