Second Phase of Western Pickups: This cover caught my eye online and decided I had to have it! Wish I knew who did the cover art. No sites seem to know:

Early Charlton Western. Masked Raider #1 Jun 1955. Any idea who the cover artist is?

Today's mail call! It's been a couple of weeks since I found any books that caught my eye. These two are just the first batch...

The Doctor is In! The cover for Doctor Eldritch #2 is here! Thanks to @brucemccorkindale.bsky.social for all his work on it! Can't wait to get the story for this one written! (though have to get the first issue published first)

One of my finished pages from Doctor Eldritch #1. Don't see much of the good Doctor here but there is a distraction:

And your cowardness of replying then blocking me shows how well your argument skills are:

A cut and past of my notification of a reply to this thread but the guy blocked me. He states the obvious by saying data centers hold the data for AI, which of course is the main problem with data centers and why people really don't need them.

Picked up my copy on a lark. Mostly for the Wally Wood art:

Small edit since I should have been paying more attention:

Hit the FreeState Comicon in Lawrence today and picked up a couple of books. Time well spent!

#TopShelfFriday #Comics #Comicbooks This is a recent purchase for me. A gamble that failed to pay off but they are still very nice copies!

This is how I found it. Just won my first DVD player off of AMC's first MonsterFest and was looking for movies to play on it. D.O.A. came in a rather flimsy cardboard envelope but got me a case for it later:

My collection from over the years. All bought new off the shelf. Thought about collecting the holes but don't think it would feel right.

This #TopShelfFriday post is also my final #WesternComicsMonth edition with a book that just came in the mail! Blazing Western #1 from Timor Opening story is done by non other than Steve Ditko before he hit his stride:

I recently was in touch with Mike, getting his signature on an early fanzine he did for Al Milgrom. Wonderful man not only signed my book, but sent me some of his artwork:

So with @spyvinyl.bsky.social getting his first X comic, I decided to see what I could find X wise without going the -Men route. Online searches weren't much help and I got out my last hard copy of Overstreet. I had to take a break after a laffing fit due to the back cover:
