St Andrews is a beautiful place steeped in Scottish history. All my children went to Madras College there too so I greatly value it and want it to thrive. This was an aberration though which reeks of cultural colonisation.

Farage and Reform point the finger. They do not fix the problem. They offer blame, not answers. They offer slogans, not solutions. Housing stays broken. Wages stay low. Public services keep failing. If you want change, you need policies that work. Not someone to blame.

Sad to hear of the passing of a wonderful woman, Jeane Freeman. I met her during the 2014 Referendum campaign when we addressed a Labour for Independence gathering in Kirkcaldy and she was outstanding in communicating the socialist case for independence. We’ll miss her humanity.
