Did you think Labour would help with the cost of living? EV drivers to pay £360 pa (average 12,000 miles pa) thanks to Labours plans. All electric vehicle drivers will be required to pay 3p per mile to drive from 2028 under Labour's new electric Vehicle Excise Duty (eVED) charge.

How many Labour members will vote in branch office leadership election? Could it be 5,000? In 2021 total Scottish membership was 16,467 but given the UK-wide 23% decline since then, Scottish membership has almost certainly fallen too. The ballot in 2021 had a 42.44% turnout.

Gordon Brown's key failings: Sold UK gold reserves at rock-bottom prices, raided pension funds, and borrowed during boom years while claiming to have ended boom and bust — leaving Britain exposed when the 2008 financial crisis hit, which his own light-touch banking regulation helped cause.

In the horrific scenario of a limited nuclear exchange, Faslane would be a priority target, and Scotland would be safer not hosting nuclear weapons. It’s questionable whether the Trident system is sustainable, is reliable and the US, is no longer a dependable partner.
