i was in a band, we played a local venue and I gave the guy behind the mixing desk a burned CD of tracks to play in between the artists so that the audience were primed for the sort of thing we did. No word of a lie, i don't think I EVER heard them play anything else again.

That would be a statement in support of or against a political party. I would understand the BBC censoring a Tshirt with that. I don't feel that a statement supporting a minority in a non-specific manner should be considered political. You might as well blank out a shirt saying 'save the children'.

I hate to be 'that guy' but it wasn't actually the case. I forget the exact circumstances, but it was something like a particular effect on 1 angle rather than anything deliberate. Other angles still showed the shirt. On first glance it looks like the incident above is quite deliberate though.

I went to uni aged 30. The group was a variety of ages, but mostly 18-21 year olds. Everyone got on well and age never even came up. The attitude of the AITA poster would have been alien to us. Have times changed that much?

You'll find very few Green supporters who genuinely thought he was going to win it (though obvs we all hoped). In the map of potential seat gains for the next election, Holborn & St. Pancras wasn't even on it. So given that & the unfavourable environment, tripling the vote share is a real success.

I'll admit, I thought it'd be a bit closer than it was, but the increase in vote share is still substantial & a great sign, expecially under the absolute barrage of attacks by the media. I guess the difference was me not making it out to campaign last weekend as I'd planned. Yep - I'll blame me!

it is within Jeff Bezos' power and wealth to give this to every employee in his company NOW. Has he done it? NO. Will he do it when some imagined AI rubicon is crossed? NO. Will he, in fact, sack as many employees as he can & use AI to provide an ever worsening service with fewer people? OF COURSE

I've talked about this before, but it is very hard when you see how moral red lines are drawn, and the complete gutting of trans people's civil rights is entirely within an accepted norm and barely remarked upon even by many progressives.
