newgrounds to their credit has banned all genAI stuff, and they have a good article up on how to hear (or otherwise detect) genAI music, worth reading!: www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-in... very fond of this extremely succinct and dry but lethal description of genAI music 🔥

a screen from newgrounds. the text is as follows:
How to Detect AI on the Newgrounds Audio Portal

By Quest and ADR3-N

The Rise of Generative AI

As generative AI (GenAI) tools have become more accessible, Newgrounds has received an alarming amount of AI-generated audio content. This “music” lacks the spirit and creativity of genuine, human effort and degrades the quality of the Audio Portal with cookie-cutter tracks that essentially sound the same. Furthermore, GenAI songs represent a certain amount of legal risk to our site, as AI models are trained on copyrighted material without consent.

Make no mistake,GenAi companies will try and dismantle all protections that creatives have over their work in the US too. They KNOW they cant win lawsuits because they broke the law. But they can try and change the laws. Folks, prepare yourselves to fight this tooth and nail.

The effort behind a love letter is shown by the stationery used, how it’s presented, and what’s written. You can get good paper from staples, OfficeMax, amazon…it don’t take much. Find a good pen. Write the feelings down you have for her. It’s basically game in written form. Present it w/flowers.
