I'm gonna get a 14" SMC and pull all the wires into it. I may also pull the wire for that visible outlet out of the breaker box and chain it through an outlet attached to the SMC so I can put the modem in the box. Trying to decide how to get backup power to it though.

I'm not entirely sure the wires are long enough to make it to a new box, because the circuit breaker feeder from the meter is partly in the way. So the Q is do I put a big hole in my wall and try it, or just give up and finish patching the existing holes >->;;

lol that point where you're not sure if you can't maintain 200Mbps on a GbE link because the wiring is bad, the USB adapter sucks, the laptop acting as a server is too slow, my Windows machine is being weird, the switch or router suck, or iperf is just being fucky again.
