I wish there were more sports comic book series's. It has always seemed super weird to me that sports stories are so well represented in other mediums, but in western, English language comics they are incredibly rare.

Still trying to sort out the best way to present my work publicly. These little squares were a bit of a necessity since I started posting regularly on Instagram a few years ago, and I do like them, but I also feel like they can lack context.

I recently made a redesign of the logo of the French football club RC Lens. It's not a 'fix' exactly, I don't dislike the current crest, but if they were to pursue a different look then this could be a route for them.

An alternative take on the new mark with the word Lens at the top of the shield.

I'm a little bit surprised that there hasn't been a big push for an Avatar: TLA MMORPG. The worldbuilding seems like it would be friendly to the idea. It might even be one of the few franchises that can do the temporary super player character thing that Star Wars Galaxies did.

I recently took a look back at my oldest bits of work. Shocking how far along I've come in the past few years.

The Kirtland's Warbler is a fairly common local bird here in Michigan. Some folks were trying to make it the new state bird. It's slow sledding.

I use Inkscape for a huge majority of my graphic design work. It's free, open source, and has no AI integration. Which is great for me since I tend to find generative AI to be more of a hindrance than anything else.

"Bad Dog No Biscuit" depicts a dog being unable to bite into a biscuit.

"Tennis Club Down Under" text surrounding a tennis ball. Also a couple of seven-pointed stars in there.

"Cardinal Direction" Bird shape, arrow - it's pretty easy to understand this one.

The only reason that the mid-match dance break sneak attack isn't used more often in other sports is because they don't have the guts to attempt it. Any premier league side worth their salt can absolutely score a goal on a keeper who is busy doing the macarena.
