2/3 Working conditions were dangerously hot, with several instances of buses reaching over 40 degrees. At the moment, most buses operated by Arriva London North have air cooling systems which are only able to reduce temperatures by around two or three degrees during heatwaves.

By 2050 1 in 4 UK properties will be at risk from flooding. Currently, a third of railways are at risk of flooding. In less than 25 years this will rise to more than half of the rail network being at risk, according to the government's own figures. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
