Hey, bus drivers sweltering in 40C+ cabs, apparently all you need to do is "drink a bit less rosé in the sunshine" and heatwaves won't be a problem. "You might think it would be hard to deny the basic reality of climate change as the temperatures soared outside. You’d be wrong."

As well as the need for a maximum working temperature, this article highlights some of the adjustments that can make working in a heatwave bearable. Some are as simple as changing uniform requirements. Having a unionised workforce is really important in getting changes made that protect workers.

July is on course to be the driest in nearly 200 years, with droughts declared across Wales. The Met Office has predicted that UK summers will be 60% drier by 2070. And yet there aren't enough firefighters to deal with faster-growing and more frequent wildfires.
