As a trans woman I have a lot to worry about. I'm currently in the process of arranging an advance decision to prevent me ever being admitted to hospital if I'm unconscious. Because I absolutely refuse to submit to humiliating & degrading treatment. This guidance will likely kill me.

I asked my gender clinician if this will include all trans people or just new ones coming through. She didn't know. I chatted to her about all the ways we're currently being persecuted. She didn't know about that either.

The upshot of this is they're planning to introduce segregated prescribing for trans people. Presumably as a way of increasing opportunities to put us & to keep our deviant practises away from normal people. And save GPs from having to lower themselves to prescribe for us.
