Was initially apprehensive to go to a concert instead of continuing to do "professional" stuff at GDC but POW: XIV at the DNA Lounge has been insane. Miles Morkri pulled out something straight out of math rock, Aivi and Surasshu continue to do great work, and ZAKU's sound is goals. Even more up next

Sad times today. I wanted to like the new song "BEAST MODE" from the new Shiny Colors mixed unit Σ Desire. "SUPER DUPER DREAMER", their main track, is a banger (thank you Yu-ki Kokubo and Eunsol(1008), the SHHis power never fails) but the vibes were just off? The music video is lovely though.

"After Run" is genuinely such a refreshing song in the SHHis discography and a beautiful encapsulation of the pair's relationship. Been a major mood lifter and makes me want to go on a run - but maybe when its a little warmer. For now, I'll settle with getting more work done.

Win Variation (VA: Hika Tsukishiro) and her struggle against Orfevre (VA: Yoko Hikasa) is so much funnier with the context of Monster Strike Apocalypse - Hika Tsukishiro's DEBUT role - where Ep 3, Lucifer (Hikasa) just rolls Netzach (Tsukishiro, then Kugisaki) while she's Phoenix Dancing (flailing).

If someone said this was a new Bellemule song, I would've believed it. SHHis's "Fading Stars" and Bellemule's "Falling Star" being similar is not too surprising as both groups have k-pop inspired concepts but hearing A-bee and immi era Bellemule melancholy in SHHis from Yuki Honda is cool.

I'm playing Ender Lillies for an Archipelago group I'm in and I have never realized how many areas have pustulant walls or ground. So many areas of blue just taunting me, never mind the areas that have a pathway blocked off. Hopping to get the traversal abilities soon.

Wakana Maruoka giving a brief pause between speaking as Rinze and as herself to let everyone either cover their ears or laugh as they accept their fate is probably one of the funniest things to discover about Shiny Colors lives. Absolute menace that I did not see coming.

Quick Recap of Ender Magnolia experience: I hate teleportation. Yes, I did sob a little when I saw her again and heard that song come on. Yes, I hate Vel. Yes, I did expect something bad to happen to an NPC after I got that last piece. And no, I did not get much sleep while playing this game.

Finished Ender Magnolia, and it really is a perfect sequel. I love all of the gameplay and setting differences - I think they all combine into an amazing contrast to Ender Lillies. While Ender Lillies leaned into horror and systemic tragedy, Magnolia focuses primarily on personal tragedies.

My arcade habits are biting me really hard playing Rift of the Necrodancer because I keep dropping my combo by pressing keys as an idle action. Going to have to break this habit before I can comfortably get through story mode, it throws me off so hard.

Think this is at the top of where I'm at for first day of Mash VP! I really need to work on something very similar that holds me back in ONGEKI - that being I'm really biased to use only the buttons on the same side as the notes. Also, 4 lane mode is just beyond me right now, just too insane.

First impressions on MASH VP! Re:Vision - blame it on having just come off a Round1 Trip + GDC but man, so many Steam rhythm games literally just drop you off at Free Play like a schoolchild and I am not nearly dedicated enough to actually get good at this game. However, Save The Night is a banger.

Burned through the Project Wingman DLC to cool down before GDC tomorrow after not having played the game in 2 years and man, I forgot how much I love this game. Between the gameplay to the voice acting to the music, peak. Unfortunately, the missile lock sound is stuck in my head now.

Tomorrow will be interesting - aiming to get into the airport around 3:45 AM for a 4:45 AM boarding time for a 5:45 AM flight. Figure the early boarding time is bc the flight is big. But brings the age-old question - do you sleep early or just stay up and sleep on the flight? Likely doing latter.
