Thank you to the lovely pirate in Germany who sent me these #OFMD cards that arrived in the mail recently. Alas, I can't find any chat/email to connect to you directly to let you know I got it. 🤔 But I did, you are sweet and the little shiny fish were cute! 🐟

Got a lovely surprise in the mail over the weekend. The Stone Rainbow Bracelets I won from @hookforahead.bsky.social have arrived! #FandomMarket #CrewForLife

Two rainbow stone bracelets atop a light brown envelope. One bracelet is made of faceted stones in a rainbow sequence. The other bracelet is made of spherical gemstones, also in a rainbow sequence.

Posting the fine things sent to me by the wonderful @zabrakshow.bsky.social from the OFMD Crew for Life Exchange earlier this year. I love the rainbow lighthouse print, there's a cute hand-drawn Merstede bookmark, and they wrote me a lovely letter!

Postcard size rainbow coloured print of a lighthouse and a hand drawn Merstede bookmark card.

Skull sticker, a card with an anchor design and a postcard with a candy heart pattern.

A "Seas the Day" sticker, a non-binary mushroom sticker and a holographic Gentlebeard sticker, accompanied by a handwritten note.

When did OFMD ultimately grab me? Hard to say. I enjoyed Season 1, got into the fandom during the break shortly before Season 2 aired. I can't pinpoint a precise instance, but probably safe to say the hooks were embedded for life by this particular event. 🌹

I want these two. You can tell they vibe well together. Although derpy seal poking in on the upper right can come too.

A single paper lantern panel showing Ed and Stede kissing in silhouette. Next to it is a neon blue and white sticker of a pirate dolphin holding a sword.

Stayed = stayed at least 1 night. Visited = deliberately visited, but didn't stay. Stopped = gas, food or point of interest stop. Technically, I could almost say "lived" in Colorado and New Mexico, as I spent a few extended periods in those states over the years. tenpages.github.io/us-level/us....

My favourite thing from the 2025 Advint Calindah? These wood etchings!

Photo showing two laser cut wood etchings of Ed and Stede from Our Flag Means Death. The illustration style is reminiscent of royal suits on playing cards.

Most of my favourite artists are already in this thread, and there's too many pieces to name. That is, except the wonderful @neslee.bsky.social . Their OFMD chibis are utterly adorable. This one is one of my favourites. I'm also the happy owner of a couple of their Merstede pins. 🧜‍♂️

You've been kidnapped. The characters from the last TV show you watched are trying to rescue you. Who's coming to save you? Methinks I might have a fighting chance at survival. 🤔

NVM, found it (St. Augustine, of course!) Also, I think someone added to it?

Screenshot of pixel art on the WPlace website. The art shows Stede and Ed sitting on a log, as Stede picks something out of Ed's beard. A pixel art Lucius is shown with his back to the onlooker. The image is framed with a black pixel border and the words Oh my God this is happening.

Broke out ye olde Photoshop to do a spot of digital colouring for #OFMDCTIYS. Had a lot of fun playing with a few designs created by @patchworkbear.bsky.social !

Digitally coloured version of a coloring page by Patchwork Pirate Bear. A golden whale sits in front of a Pride flag, with the words "Our Flag Means Pride" underneath.

Colourful mosaic lighthouse design, from a coloring page by Patchwork Pirate Bear. The lighthouse is mostly red and black with a gold light. The waves are blue colours and the rest of the sky is a gradient of yellow, orange, red and purple colours.

Colouring page from a design by Patchwork Pirate Bear. The Revenge is sailing on a blue ocean, featuring a series of colourful flags. Behind the ship is a sunset sky with a few clouds, seagulls overhead and a vividly coloured rainbow framing the ship.

What the hell. It's a Wednesday night, and I'm at a loose end (read: too exhausted to do much of anything other than derping about online). Picrew creation tool is here: picrew.me/en/image_mak... The quiz in question: uquiz.com/quiz/eTdXoU/...

Cartoon image featuring a nonbinary person with brown hair, brown eyes, blue eyeshadow, brown beard and moustache. They have pointed elf ears with a hearing aid. Nearby are two floating hearts. One heart has the nonbinary flag pattern, the other has the pansexual flag pattern.

Your result: Mentor.

You might not be the main character, but you're still very important. You're the older, or at least wiser one, who guides all those little youngins to victory. They may not always listen to you, but at least they respect you. The fandom looks on you as either a MILF/DILF, the lovable cooky old guy, or the one who really, really needs a break. Maybe all three. Probably all three.
