I was tempted to pirate HP, curiosity and all that. But @jessiegender.bsky.social is right - think of the amount of times HBO commented on GOT leaks and downloads, just as an example. They DO track these things, and even that drives interest. Let this show die. Trans people deserve better.

2 more cryptid sightings this month... then I'll have some fun announcements for November!
An event flyer titled "Walsh Wettengle Autumnal Sightings" features a gritty, rusted metal background with a blue metallic plate bolted across the top. On the right side, the author in a baseball cap and a dark t-shirt that reads "Cryptid Tamer" is pictured from the waist up. Below his photo are 2 book covers: one titled "Snowman" showing an eerie snowman in a snowy playground, another titled "Absinthe & Iron Cages" featuring a glowing green lantern inside an ornate cage. On the left side, the flyer lists four autumn event dates and locations in text:
SEP 26 — 10AM-5PM: "Massacre on the Mountain" at Timberline Lodge, Mt. Hood, OR.
OCT 4 — 3PM: "The Thinnest Veil" readings with HWA at Tomb of Treasure, White Center, WA.
OCT 8 — 5PM-8PM: Capitol Hill Art Walk with HWA at Chophouse Row, Seattle, WA.
OCT 23-25 — various times: Artist Alley with HWA at WA State Horrorcon, Puyallup, WA.

The image is reminiscent of a dark, atmospheric book cover titled "FEAST OF APPLES" by Walsh Wettengle written in a sharp, stylized white font across the top. The background is a dense, shadowy apple orchard filled with green foliage and scattered red apples hanging from branches and littered across the dark ground. Tucked into the deep shadows on the left side, a creepy, decaying green zombie face with bare teeth and glowing red eyes peers out from behind the leaves.Event poster titled "The Thinnest Veil: Haunted Readings From the Seattle Chapter of the Horror Writers Association."

The poster features a dark, spooky theme with a black background overlaid by purple cobwebs. In the upper-left, a skeleton sits on a skeletal throne, holding up a paperback which features a vampire on the cover, her mouth open displaying her fangs.

The event details are written in stylized, dripping purple and white fonts:
