I think these are probably a lot more true if you excluded software development. He’s not in that space That is where nearly all of the growth has come from. And that has quickly gone through the tech adoption curve and is moving onto how do we reduce costs part. Open source will be big

We always need to look at what a technology replaces to understand the impact. The internet replaced mail, printing, and phone calls. Physical items-> digital items. AI replaces reading, typing, and coding. It allows bespoke products. I do not believe these will not be the same impact

One unknown with the Adley trade is what they were saying on free agency, extension, or desire for a trade. There is definitely a chance Adley was signaling to move, especially after the Basallo extension. If that was the case, the trade was the best move for everyone (except the fans)

I’m really glad we didn’t trade Rogers, and I think that would have burned the rest of the season more than Adley. Right now we have 4 good starters. A great catcher. 4 acceptable OFs. If Gunnar, Mayo, Cowser, Basallo, Holliday all get it together, then they can make playoffs behind the rotation /1

I just don’t see this happening. The class of problems that personal assistants solve for people just seems really narrow. Our time isn’t sunk doing internet things, it goes to physical world. Speed of light and compute time limits data center usage in the physical world.

The most interesting thing is how much this costing them. 6% yield is 2% above short term interest rates. And the it is a debit card with low interchange fees. That is unlikely to be sustainable because the money doesn’t work

I think it is vastly under appreciated how much of Tesla and SpaceX promises/stock price is wrapped up in unproven technology. Not just not built but truly unproven that the physics allows it Rapidly reusable boosters, in orbit fueling, camera-only self driving cars, general purpose humanoid robots
