thought about this guy from dkc2 for some reason

Various sketchy paintings of Klampon from Donkey Kong Country 2, a little blue crocodile guy with a huge mouth and big sharp teeth. Yelling AUGH in one sketch. Against a volcano backdrop in another.

Portraits of Dame Yvette #art #digitalart #oc

Portraits and art pieces of Dame Yvette.
Clad in her Black Crown armor and axe at hand.
She has a strong and tall physique. A very stern and strong demeanor.
Despite this there is something still under all that armor-clad woman.

She stands tall on the left side of the image, a small portrait of her in more casual attire on the bottom middle, and on top she is looking to the side, perhaps answering to someone.
The final image on the right she is reaching up to a familiar star. A familiar hand is either reaching back or handing her the star that shines its warmth light down on Yvette who for once does not have such a serious face.

Songs quoted -

Veteran of the Psychic Wars / Blue Oyster Cult
I Won’t Kneel / Groove Armada

SOMEDAY LOVE WILL FIND YOU. #art #digitalart #oc

A rough portrait of Dame Yvette
Drenched, mid swing of the axe.
Arrows across her back and leg, a furious expression showing fury, cleaving though the pain in the battlefield
She is wearing no helmet.

And yes: we are quoting the Journey song: Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)

Here's the main points from the site page. This is how Discord is going to implement it. While it sucks they're doing this, they're pretty much covering their asses to get any governments off their backs. The blame should still be put on those stupid ID laws.

TLDR

•More than 90% of you won’t be asked to confirm your age. Since our last post about teen safety, we've had to launch age assurance solutions in more places, including Texas and Brazil. Laws requiring age assurance are expanding around the world. Rather than waiting to be told how to do it, we’re launching our own privacy-preserving approach: one that reflects your feedback.

•You can check your age group status at User Settings > Account Status. We've estimated your age group automatically from account signals like how long your account has existed or the kinds of servers you're a part of. We don’t look at your messages, calls, or other content. We're launching this over the course of this week, so it may take a few days to reach your account.

•If you're in the adult age group (18+), nothing changes. If you're in the teen age group (13-17), you can keep messaging friends, joining voice calls, and participating in non-age-restricted servers, but with additional safety protections that block age-restricted content, spaces, and settings. Otherwise, Discord works the same. More on this below.

•We've added several new ways to confirm your age, including some that don't require an ID or selfie (including credit cards). If you're an adult but weren't automatically placed in the adult age group, you can confirm your age group at any time by going to User Settings > Account Status. More on the new options below.

I just read through it and from what I could gather, they actually taken in some feedback. For the most part, they're going to implement it to where it doesn't require selfies or ID cards. This isn't something to cause any of y'all to nuke your Discord accounts or go into mass hysteria.
