I’d do that job in a heartbeat. My mother carefully removed the top head seam from this bear when I was about seventeen. He’s the one. You know, the one. And he was a limp sack. She opened him up, flipped him inside out, hand washed him, flipped him back, and restuffed him. 💖

Some years ago (at least five), I bought four pairs of shoes. Good sale and I liked them. I’ve worn them every day since. With very rare to no exception. I’m on my last pair. Surprising no one, they are several models different now. So once again, like my jeans and shorts, it’s eBay to the rescue.

This was sitting on a desk at work, just like this. I’ve heard that Elsevier is scouring old texts and reprinting things about congenital rubella, measles, etc. So yeah. This about sums it up.

I wore these exclusively at work for 2020-2022. So did nearly all of my coworkers. Finally got Covid in 2022 when the others unmasked. Upgraded to N95 with these over for looks. They’re decent/better than nothing. The interfacing is key. The pipe cleaner up top helps too.

After pleating and sewing along the entire edge to seal the bottom opening, sew the bias tape on the sides. Et voila.

This is how I pleat mine. I’m a mostly metric American, so this is in cm. The red pins get folded up to the yellow pins, fabric gets pinned in place, original pins removed, sew the sides.

Sew the rectangles together and turn them inside out. The pin in the bottom of the one on top is where I leave my small opening for turning them.

Add interfacing. It makes a world of difference. So, but your cloth rectangle, then an interfacing rectangle. Iron it on. Here are my supplies already cut. Fabric, interfacing, a pipe cleaner for over the nose, and bias tape for ties.
