I understand why people are tired of this core of Phillies players--and I certainly don't like my fair share of them--but Bryce Harper has been an unbelievable playoff performer and the opprobrium he receives is disproportionate to the number of times he has been absolutely massive for them.

The articles of incorporation for 36 dismissed LPFM applications revealed that they were incorporated in Louisiana and identified community activist Stephen Wade Rathke as the registered agent. Rathke told me that his foundation created a "network of support" for people to get on the air.

An agent from the FCC's Enforcement Bureau found a 107.9 Detroit FM translator to be transmitting at 394% of its authorized transmitting power, while using an antenna that did not match its required directional pattern.

Basin Mediactive’s KLAD(AM) is licensed to Klamath Falls and transmits from one tower in a four-tower array. A crop-duster aircraft struck its tower last Thursday, and as of yesterday morning, the station was in the process of switching to another one of the towers in the array to broadcast.

Morehead State University's WMKY was able to secure a combination of sources for necessary funding for a transmission plant transformation, which also served as a centerpiece of the station’s 60th anniversary celebration. The station replaced everything but its antenna, GM Paul Hitchcock told us.

Let’s add on that he used Bowlan for the bottom of the order, Alvarado for the heart of the order. Stubbs missed challenging a pitch in the middle of the zone and then why would you call for a sinker there in an 0-2 count. The pitchers need to pitch better but they aren’t being set up for success.

Donald Trump has nominated Danielle Thumann Severs, who is a senior counsel to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, to serve on one of the two open seats on the commission. The nomination was sent to the U.S. Senate on Friday, where it will go through a formal process for confirmation.

Cumulus has surrendered the license of KZAC in San Francisco to the FCC. The one-time KSFO tower site at Pier 94 was among the leases Cumulus was seeking to reject as no longer necessary following its prepackaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan. The 560 AM signal has a long history in the Bay Area.
