Procrastination finally beat me, basically been doing nothing for several days until i finished the first few seconds of the next Heavy's Poot Trip part. I've also been losing skill at GMOD animation, going back to the full noob roots. My new passion is making games, and i'll begin working on it soon. Don't expect anything crazy from me, it's just going to be a generic simple platformer. All of the GMOD and SFM animations i planned earlier will be delayed way later.

Please go play Q*Bert, especially if you can find a physical arcade cabinet for it. The original cabinets had Pinball mechanisms in them so when something would fall off the pyramid, there'd be a real CLUNK in the machine and it genuinely adds so much to the experience PLEASE go play Q*Bert

In Super Mario Odyssey, many Goombas can be stacked. The limit for a legitimate Goomba stack is 30, as they will stop spawning afterwards. Manually spawning more Goombas reveals that the limit for an illegitimate Goomba stack is 200. At 201 Goombas, the game crashes.

Addendum: a technical explanation of how backgrounds are drawn in both cases and what exactly I mean in the post by saying "same graphic". I hope this is acceptable!

This is the NES background tile table for Super Mario Bros.
It has eight tiles dedicated to the graphics that are, with different palettes, used for both the clouds and bushes.
Both the NES and the GBA store graphics in this way where the data is present on a tile basis and does not include a palette.
The only difference, which the original post is pointing out, is that for the bushes, the NES only uses the first four tiles and never draws the last four...
...while for the GBA, it does draw all eight tiles with the green palette before drawing a different background layer over them, rendering them unseen during gameplay.

A commonly shared Super Mario Bros. fact is that "the clouds and bushes are the same", but the bushes only use half the cloud graphics. However, this statement turns out to be completely true for WarioWare: Twisted, where the bushes are actually just full green clouds buried halfway in the ground.

One of the most commonly shared trivia about Super Mario Bros. is about how the bushes are just the clouds, but recolored.

While this is of course true, it is not 100% accurate since the bushes do not use the full cloud graphic. What you see of the bush object is all that exists - there is no hidden lower part obscured behind the ground tiles.
However, in the Super Mario Bros. microgame in WarioWare: Twisted, something is different...
Disabling the foreground layer reveals that here, the bushes are in fact using the full cloud graphic, recolored and hidden halfway below the ground!
The graphics are actually the same now.

Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour contains a debug mode in its files, which provides an animation viewer. For an unknown reason, the animations of the characters moving into their golfing positions have a variety of bizarre motions as part of their initial setup.
