My uncle Mike landed in Normandy on D-Day +3, then fought in France & Belgium. He survived being injured in battle but never spoke about what he went through. He was never bitter about what he left back in Europe. He saw what he did as noble & in the defense of freedom. Thanks always Uncle Mike.
