I love it when the press release from the City of Vancouver about our response to tariffs becomes (checks notes) a pledge for ABC not to raise property taxes next year.

"In times like these, what people need most is certainty. That's what this Vancouver City Council is focused on delivering, in every part of how we serve our city.

I would argue that some cultural things that we're famous for -- filming locations, music history, video games -- are largely not really recognized in the city. We don't have a museum of B.C. film or of Canadian video games or of Vancouver music history, when all these things could be big draws.
