i'm plaid it's friday first friday in autumn took one of my dad's favorite plaid shirts and sewed some seams right down the middle of the back. this way he was dressed while bedridden and we didn't need to get the shirt behind him. no different than a hospital gown. ~plaid dignity #ImPlaidItsFriday

the venus fly trap does have beautiful blooms tho

venus fly trap flowers blooming. white petals with a subtle lime greenish color in the center. the filament of the stamens is also white but the anther is yellow. The stigma in the center is a delicate white, like tiny little daisies almost.
in the background and out of focus is the green pat with the fly traps.
This plant died shortly after blooming. I did not know it would die. I also did not know how beautiful it was.
