I've been designing some wooden bookshelves and cutlery cabinets with FreeCad. It's been bloody hard work. I was advised to use Claude to make the design and send the results to FC. What a difference! Fully parametric designs and cutting lists in minutes rather than days.

Currently, about 12% of EU gas demand and 20% of its LNG is sourced from Russia. Since Israel and the US closed the Straits of Hormuz, EU usage of RU fuels has actually increased. In addition, the EU imports nuclear fuel from RU too. So much for EU sanctions!

It's dangerously naive for EU countries to assume the next US president will be 'better' or 'saner' than Trump. The structural malaise that delivered MAGA and Trump still exists and shows no signs of going away. Just waiting him out is not a viable option.
