Today’s shift was so terrible. And on the first day of pride month? What the fuck is that all about??

Voismic @voismic.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

So Socially changed my name, and my new position requires me to call staff with my phone. I have my phone with my new name- Others with an iPhone will see my name when my number shows up. Mind you, I’m not out to anyone at my job. Person on the other end was chill about it when she asked abt it phew

Edit of a panel to make it look like a phone conversation. I’m holding my phone up to my ear, the person at the other end asks “why does your contact name say “Marciano”?” And I respond with “how about we stop talking for a little while.” A worried expression on my face, and a nervous smile

Decided to get my hair cut at a shop just to try it out, see if it was worth it and to try it out after cutting my own hair for so long. Safe to say, if you want something done right, do it yourself. I’m disappointed :/ Place looked nice too

Most recent art piece is a slightly experimental self portrait- my girlfriend said something that inspired me to make this for her. Learned from it surprisingly. The most time consuming bit were the decorations lol - #art #alien

A stylized self portrait of me eating a burger. I’m sprouting antennas that fade to become green. The ends of them have yellow stars. The background is a green grainy photo of a ufo. Surrounding me are small cut outs of drawn stars, half tone shapes, and to the bottom right are two polaroids covered by a black and white name tag that reads, “Hello my name is Marciano”
Also, yes, this is a Jerma reference lmao- I used the burger meme as reference

Been absent due to interesting life events recently- all positive! Was given a very interesting opportunity at my job that will definitely open doors for me! Hopefully I can step into this temporary role full time in the future! And I’ve finally started to take steps towards starting HRT! Wooo!

An #Artfight piece done for a friend last year. I remember really liking this #art piece.

My friend’s Aliensona, Noctarion, looking up at the large window in Voismics spaceship. The view is a blue spacescape

I thought I was sick of the thought of space travel. Turned out I was really sick of billionnaire vanity projects. What NASA's doing is incredible and has got me excited about space exploration again.

Trying to get back into the swing of posting something once and a while Starting with old art first Art fight piece I did in 2024 of my best friends MLP sona and my MLP sona hanging out I think my favorite detail is the pride flag colors in the post it strips

Shaded artfight piece of my friends MLP sona, Caótica, and my bat pony sona (still unnamed) hanging out/ engaging in parallel play. Caótica is reading the first hunger games book and my sona is drawing caótica from their view as they rest on caóticas tail. Background is a field of grass, with pink trees and tall mountains in the style of the mlp show.

Fuck me this is bleak. But please, do continue to use GenAI slop thumbnails for your YouTube videos, or your album art, or your book covers or whatever else. I'll continue to refuse to watch/listen/read any of them, knowing already they're not worth the time & that you're a disappointing lazy hack.

‘Children's book illustrator isn't a job anymore.’
I've been out of work for a while now. I made children's book illustrations, stock art, and took various art commissions.

Now I have several maxed out credit cards and use a donation bin for food. I haven't had a steady contract in over a year. two weeks ago, when a client who has switched to AI found out about this he gave me $50 out of "a sense of guilt." Basically pity for the fact that Illustrator, as a job, does not exist anymore.

It was my birthday recently and I sincerely considered not living anymore.
The worst part of all is that the parents who once supported me fully in being an artist sent me an AI generated picture of a caricature of themselves holding a birthday cake with my name spelled incorrectly.

STARSET and their continued used of AI in some of their music videos is so disappointing Irony can only get you so far in terms of your “technology will be our downfall” message when you use something that is environmentally destructive and is making the world dumber They make proper MVs too,so why?

Digital art of a purple galaxy spiralling with clouds, where one cloud looks like a dragonic creature reaching out towards the centre

Digital art of a space with an orange nebula where a dragon head silhouette is visible

Digital art of a purple cosmic dragon spiralling around a galaxy.

Digital art of a greenish nebula with planets around where in the middle a dragon-like creature out of cosmic clouds spreads threads from a star

Voice training is tough, but I notice a difference, as inconsistent as I am with my voice training. Funnily enough I don’t really have a good technique or guideline lol Slowly but surely I’ll get to the point where I’ll talk to friends and family with my trained voice 🤞
