If we want to live in an internet made by people, we need to start showing our interest in connecting with the author. We need authors to be proud of themselves and their imperfect work. Economic forces need to see that people value the human behind the art, not just content for content's sake.

All it takes is the capitalism-optimization loop to replace creatives with content farms. In game development though, these negative forces are hyper enabled by AI progress. Anywhere that AI use is easily concealable are hit the hardest, and it seems more and more fields are getting hit every day.

If two people doing the same job could end up with different results, then its a creative medium. People and corporations who use AI to fill creative work, have no value to humanity. AI creative work will lose its value as it becomes abundant. People and corps using it now are cornering themselves.
