They're almost certainly cheaper than the CW KOs to assemble. But it's probably mostly that once a mould's made that's a lot of the cost gone. Plus these are probably released in volume in the domestic market of wherever they're made as the sort of cheap toys we used to see on post office carousels.

Due to the time period and it being freshly out there was a bit made of comparisons with the Blair Witch Project.

Early gothic liked playing with stuff, rather similar to what early novels (and latterly some well known stuff like Dracula) did with letters as narratives. Don't remember getting much out of Hogg at university, but it might be interesting with more context and patience.

And Cyc is a good design, it's just reminiscent of how Silverbolt was reused in CW.

AI is now the biggest investment in all of US history as a percentage of GDP. Datacenter construction is up, all other construction is down. "AI Is Squeezing Out the Rest of the Stock Market," reported WSJ 2 days ago. We basically bet the whole economy on the most optimistic visions panning out.

Hopefully similar, figure that preorders on AE are a bit riskier but it was really cheap and didn't feel like adding to or replacing Star screams and Thundercrackers. Haven't had a transforming 'Skywarp in a while. Hoping we get the much more random repaints suggested on the packaging.

It's the fact a lot of people keep reposting stuff that isn't true rather than come up with a graphic that's more accurate. Which would be better for 'everyone'. At this point it's just regular trolling for corrections.

Hoping there's a Blokees one soon, he's the only character left to complete the UK Classic Heroes re-release set. Don't remember the MP being too bad, but didn't really touch it after sticking a CHUG head on. The original is still the go-to.

Don't remember issues with Krok or SC except the claws popping off if looked at wrong. Yeah, the UM guns are thicker due to paint. Although the fists also seem a bit tight. Probably my fave after getting the blue paint off, though, white cab Optimus has a lot of nostalgia attached.

I think about a hundred, they're slightly more now but not much. Overall very good quality, especially compared to the TT original for price. Did end up modifying the rotating part the head is on to make sure it stays flush in combined mode. Comes with a second head that also ended up on TR PM OP.

Never really got into 'evil Prime' repaints, so they tend to end up as 'Nucleon Quest Convoy' here. RID Scourge is ace though, should've kept that one years ago, but the G2 original's a fair substitute.

The shorter pair of the ones that came with an MPG-09 Super Ginrai KO. Could probably do the same thing with actual PM Prime guns and some cut-off LEGO Technic pins or similar to make them more 5mm. (Lot of mix-and-match potential... the MPG looks better with G1 cannons and its went to TR PM Prime.)

Weirdly little urge to do this, partly because from the stories it was clear anyone who went with some of those plot points was morally grey, at best, mostly that they haven't AFAIK actively been funding harm like other big names. Of course, only really thinking of a couple of comics people there.

Fair amount of mind control and possession, copying from/to crystals, transfer of brain modules, body theft, etc and some impersonation but straight up swaps not that I recall. Straxus was more possession too. Didn't even get western TF stories with -Masters swapping partners AFAIK. Surprisingly.
