I want to be friends with people like me. I like trying to help people and cheer them up, and be a source of joy for them. But it's frustrating after a while. I'm tired of being everyone is else's safe space while those same people hurt me.

I've been hurt by nearly everyone I befriend despite trying so hard to be mindful and not hurt others, especially others like me. I'm just really disappointed in the community. I know they say that "hurt people, hurt people". I'm thinking more and more that it's true, and I hate it.

Disappointed that most of the people I think I trust end up hurting me. I'm autistic, trans, and I had a severe complex trauma from childhood until ~20. I try my best to be empathetic to those in the with similar struggles. And yet I've been hurt by traumatized people, trans people, autistic people

I spent the last 2 days learning how to use Praat to measure the formants of my voice / other's voices. It really didn't help me modulate my formants at all, but I have developed the completely useless skill of being able to listen to someone else's voice and tell what their second formant is
