most of my impressionable movie watching was done when I was a kid. my dad got me into musicals, and we watched a bunch of them together 🥰 (obviously the last two are a wild departure from that bc I found them in my teens/20s) Cruel Intentions has not aged well, but the soundtrack is still great.

I saw the company vans out front, and they’re working in the restaurant on the first floor. zoey has been walked, benadryl’d, and is settled with a frozen licky treat. management said, supposedly, the test will be a few quick beeps and that should be it. so, hopefully it’s not bad.

so, this ended up as a DNF. Ashley broke protection twice and I couldn’t get past how stupid that was. it was the first in a series, and I really wanted to read the second one bc it has more Deaf rep, decent reviews, and narrated by a favorite. however. I’ve started the second book, ah uh. yeah.

I just finished this, and my goodness was it way more sweet and adorable than I expected. also wildly emotional, because Blaze has similar self-conscious hang ups to ones I’ve experienced. and it’s just so satisfying to live in a world where love wins and dreams come true 💞 💙🎧📚
