You're not alone, it's an age group thing. Look up 'own age bias' and 'aesthetic homogeneity'. Using the greeting 'Hello there' has saved me from embarrassment on countless occasions.

I was at that gig. Torrential rain during the Suede set. I'll always remember Brett Anderson trying to suppress a smile at how drenched we all were. Also remember watching Dylan standing side of stage watching the earlier act.

Just avoid paying over the odds. Shop around online and be persistent and you won't get ripped off. Most indies have online shops and the sales happen frequently as they try to rake back some money from overstocking

From experience, most years its not worth queuing. Add bookmarks to your phone for a few record shops, & you can buy 99pc of releases the next day or in sales across the year. The ltd release issue numbers are a bit of a con. If all else fails wait a few months and buy a copy off discpgs or ebay
