Madadayo まあだだよ. Akira Kurosawa's last film. It's not a great film, but as Kurosawa's final film, it's a good way to end his career. All of the main characters are very positive people and only want the best for the film's lead. It feels good to watch a film like that. #film #kurosawa

The Green Hornet tv series from 1966 to 1967. I can understand why it lasted just 1 season. It's average at best. I think it's biggest problem is that it was a half hour series, so the stories never had a chance to be properly developed. The cast though was good, especially Bruce Lee. #greenhornet

While only being 11° & very windy, I dressed up & went for a bike ride as it was a nice sunny day. The 1st half against the wind was hard, but the second half was good with the wind in my back. Met up with an e-scooter who was on the wrong side of the road. I had to angrily move aside. #cycling

This afternoon's run was a bit cool. We are at that time of year where you have to really gauge how to dress. I dressed a bit lightly, started off cold, but eventually warmed up to a comfortable temperature. Saw 2 runners as I was warming up, met up with 1 of them later on. Waved hello. #running

First bike ride in almost 2 weeks. I was rusty. I felt like I had to climb every hill 1 gear lower than I usually do. While it was 18° when I set off, it was rapidly cooling. All days for next 2 weeks are only 10°. Today could be my last ride of 2026. Met up with an E-biker, waved hello. #cycling

Saturday evening's aurora view north of my city. Timing was not on my side. There was a very intense aurora activity while it was still light. By the time it got dark, it was fading rapidly & these are the best photos that I could take with my Nikon D-5000 camera. #auroras

Pebble in the Sky. The 3rd & thankfully final chronological book in Isaac Asimov's empire series. I'm glad I'm done with these novels. They are all bad. Thankfully, the next one I'm reading from Asimov is Prelude to Foundation. I expect a better story with much more intelligent characters. #booksky

Yesterday's Enterprise. Truly, one of the best Star Trek episodes ever. Every second of this episode works, not one second is wasted. The main cast is phenomenal, but it's the guest stars Denise Crosby, Christopher McDonald & Tricia O'Neil who add that oomph that make it all work. #startrek

I felt kind of a bit off during this afternoon's run & decided to cut it short to 7km. It went well enough, but glad I didn't push myself. When I got home, I started feeling cold, like I have a slight fever. I'm dressed warmly now, so feeling better. Hopefully, this doesn't last long. #running

This morning's strenuous exercise was a hike on the South Kouchibouguac Dune in Kouchibouguac National Park. It was an 16.7km hike on sand. Very tiring, but very rewarding, especially with the seal colony at the end. #hiking

I had a brief window in between the rain & took full advantage to get an 8km run in Mapleton Park. Only a little drizzle fell on me, so no problem there. The run itself went well. A change of scenery is always nice. Met up with a lot of dog walkers & gave them their space to walk. #running
