This is amazing! SimCopter had a great soundtrack by Jerry Martin but the game’s files were highly compressed. So LucasVB got in touch with Mr. Martin and he was able to find most of the original high quality tracks! Awesome to hear “Hangar” in such clarity after 30 years archive.org/details/SimC...

I loved listening to those N64/PS1-era Jungle Drum n Bass mixes on YouTube. Like, ones with actual old video game music on them. Sadly, those have been completely drowned out by "PS1 NOSTALGIA MIX!" AI slop channels that upload hours of music every day, and there's like a dozen of these channels...

Early 2000's extreme sports and racing games had the best licensed soundtracks. So many obscure rock and nu metals bands, and bands who never truly saw the light of the day, delivering such memorable kickass songs to define our childhoods. Will forever cherish those vibes.

Really there's probably like a hundred shows that I should check out and watch through. Instead I often find myself re-watching the same comfort shows I've seen a million times.

I'm tempted to time travel in ACNH not for bells or villagers, but because it was raining all day yesterday on my island and I wanna keep enjoying that relaxing rain more.

I always loved the atmosphere of a lot of 90s music videos. Especially ones that utilize claymation and/or stop-motion. "I Stay Away" and "Grind" by Alice In Chains, and "Sober" by TOOL are good examples.

Watching space rocket launches is always anxiety inducing. Can't even imagine the nerves of steel it'd take to take on that task. Glad that crew had a safe launch, and hope their mission goes smoothly.

A few days ago I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat of 17 years. I'm grateful for the sleepless nights I stayed up with her in the past 2 weeks to ensure she was happy and never alone, and relieved she is no longer suffering. But my soul is crushed without her. I'll miss you so much, Emma. 💔

Found some cool 75% off after Christmas sale goodies! I'm most excited about the Sonic vs Knuckles set. Now to find a place to display them all.

A set of 5 different items with a total of 6 characters. A Genesis-styled box containing ornaments of Sonic and Knuckles battling each other. A small deer statue with a bell on it. A Sylveon Hallmark ornament. A reindeer ornament hearing earmuffs and a red and white jacket. And a metal Hallmark ornament of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Another set of ornaments. A metal Hallmark ornament of Pikachu using an attack. A Funko Pop styled Sonic the Hedgehog Hallmark ornament. A metal deer statue with long legs. A 6 pack of Hallmark Mario themed ornaments, featuring a Power Star, Super Mushroom, Yoshi Egg, ? Block, Red Shell, and Green Shell. A cutesy plush Hallmark ornament of Sonic the Hedgehog. An ornament styled like a Pacman Arcade machine. A Dr. Eggman Hallmark ornament. A metal Hallmark Mercat ornament. And a Hallmark Gengar ornament.

I've had to train myself to not get excited over video games, because every time I see something announced that looks promising, it either won't be released for another 5 years, or hasn't even started its kickstarter campaign or development yet. By that time I probably won't care anymore.

I see one Bob's Burgers thing before bed, and end up having this wacky dream about the Belcher family opening up a really dysfunctional mall entirely by themselves. The whole point seemed for Bob's restaurant to be in the middle of it for more business and to promote his new burger sauce, lol.

To me, Vince Guaraldi's music doesn't just define the spirit of the Peanuts franchise, but also the spirit of the holiday seasons as a whole. It always sets the mood perfectly. Nostalgic, calming, non-intrusive, and beautiful. Happy Halloween, and be sure to look out for the Great Pumpkin!
