I dont think what the finale is trying to say about love is incongruous with the rest of the show, I just dont find how it was presented through these characters all that compelling compared to similarly abrupt, jarring conclusions. The show’s gotten the same point across better in earlier eps.

Sayolara’s finale was probably the most stunning ep of the whole series, the first 2/3s of it had me in awe. Directorially perfect episode that sorta trips over itself in the last few minutes contradicting what it built up to. Im conflicted and understand what it was going for but feels half baked

There’s a handful of phenomenal moments sprinkled throughout an otherwise horribly paced slog of a game. even if the combats an improvement over 1, the levels felt like they’d never end. The story’s nowhere near as compelling and the cast has a painful lack of personality that made it hard to care.

I loved kh3 but oh my god we have got to do better than this for 4… going back to practically any of the Keyblade Graveyard scenes is painful for the wrong reasons. That game’s biggest issue is awful cutscene & voice direction + very lazy fight choreography

Replaying KH1 and man this is such a comforting game to come back to. My first playthrough a decade ago was kind of rough, but knowing way more abt the game after 100%ing it and having watched endless videos on it makes it a joy to replay. I still need a guide for some of the secret chests tho lol

Its also weird how varied the quality is for the in game models vs their renders too like. I think Saria in game looks cuter than her render! Young Link’s render makes me see the vision a lot more it looks nice in spite of the unnecessary detail. Same with Ganondorf!

There was a moment the days prior where I got hopeful for it to be a transformational reimagining of the 3D zelda structure using OOT as the setting for something new, but instead its just the same game we’ve had for 28 years but now it looks slippery and gross 😭 idk Im happy for the people excited
