Finished this painting of my best friend’s dog Elphie! Turned it into a reel on other socials in an attempt to be seen. It’s been great to create again. #painting #art #pets

A small acrylic painting on canvas hanging on a grey wall. It’s a black dog licking her nose. She has some grey and white in her fur. Her eyes are brown and look softly sweet because she is the best girl. There’s stripes of colours comprising a rainbow flag behind her, starting with blue at the top, then green, yellow, orange, and red.

me picking up this drawer organizer and realizing it’s full of pens I don’t know whether they work or not: aw what the heck I’ve been organizing my studio! so that it will be ready for me post trip. It’s going pretty well.

A white drawer organizer full of random artist pens.

A room painted white with a desk and a drafting desk piled high with stuff. There are bins etc on the floor and a scanner on a chair. A cork board holds tubes of paint with binder clips and that’s actually organized.

Same room but the drafting desk is nearly clear, more art has been hung on the main wall (mostly depictions of people tied with rope). It’s overall much neater.

genuinely what would you do? I can post other outfits with example shoes. I have a blue dress they’d look fine with. They look kinda funny with a pencil skirt. A bit zany but workable with my leopard print. I could just look like a doof? I could hope for the best and wear my adidas for 20k steps?

A sketchbook with a two page spread rests on a woman’s knees. She’s wearing white shoes and a white and blue striped dress. The painting depicts colourful orange and pink garden beds and some trees. Dark purple shadows and a purple tree in the centre are the most prominent contrasting colours against lighter green and yellow. At the woman’s feet is dappled sunlight in grass.

Yesterday this drag queen told me I look too queer for this to be my first drag show and it was the most affirming thing anyone’s ever said to me. 😂 “What? With this hair, and the Florence and the Machine t-shirt? I am very surprised”

A drag queen wearing very tall PVC platform boots is half-reclined on an outdoor stage with a lattice of green leaves as a backdrop. They have makeup making their face pale and a wig of long, dark hair. The rest of their outfit is pink and neon greens. Their expression is intense and there are a few scattered Canadian five dollar bills on the stage around them.

Today’s oracle card getting Real Extra thanks to a rainbow from the front window. 🌈 Page text from the card is in the ALT text. 😘

A page from the Tree Keepers Oracle book depicting a man standing on a tree branch bathed in sunlight, holding up a mask he’s taken off. There is a round sun mask at his feet that is repeated on the opposite page. An actual rainbow is shining on the artwork from a nearby window. The text reads:

2 • Keeper of Abundance
The sun creates enough energy in a single day to run all the machines on the earth for a thousand years. Read that again. That's the universe you live in and you are as worthy a recipient of that energy as any tree, plant or animal. The tree of your soul is ever reaching down into the dark root system of mystery and up into the sun of abundance. True abundance isn't a plethora of things; it's a wealth of energy and resilience. It's the ability to get back up after a failure. The ability to believe in yourself when no one else seems to. The ability to shine again after the rain of trauma or crisis. And like the trees, to reach ever skyward.

[Spoilers for interested GMs!] Here’s more info if you must know more, haha. The letter for GMs. Included link to the game page for further context: theinstagrahame.itch.io

A letter with floral decoration duplicated above and below:

A Note to GMs
Dear Game Master,
If you're reading this, someone in your player party has been visited by a Spirit of Small Gifts, and was offered a small household item to use in their campaign. If the player asks "Is it possible that I would have
in my inventory?", that's the space that a Spirit of Small Gifts operates best. This item has neither magical nor technological benefits, and has negligible financial value. This gift was intended as a potential plot device to help the player creatively solve a single puzzle.
However, you are not required to play along. If you choose not to allow this item in your game, the Spirit has still succeeded in the game's original mission. This Spirit of Small Gifts is a game created as part of a Game Jam designed to encourage people to mail things to each other and talk about their RPGs together. It is not designed to override or overrule the GM of any campaign.
If you choose to play along: thank you for participating in this goofy little experiment.
Either way, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read this note. If you would like more information about the Spirit of Small Gifts, visit https://theinstagrahame.itch.io/.
