Here's a peek at my process for drawing "The Oracle", written by @andresbriano.bsky.social for The Lost Archive, which has a few days left on Kickstarter! The panels in this thread are from pages 3 and 6 www.kickstarter.com/projects/ver... (1/3)🧵

A digital sketch of a comic panel from The Oracle, an 8 page comic Finn illustrated. This image shows the thumbnail, a messy sketch to showcase basic composition. The panel shows someone opening the latch to a heavy metal door, with water gushing out from behind it.

Ditto to the last image, but this one shows the proper detailed sketch of the panel.

Ditto to the last image, but this one shows the final clean black inks.

And, the last of the reasons you should support the sequel to the #Museum of the #Uncanny the Lost Archive is to be distracted by the question posed here: What is the most important gift ever bestowed on mankind? @verybigcomics.com is a small #indiepress with beautiful #comics made by real people!

The Lost Archive is book 2 of the Museum of the Uncanny Anthology. If it gets launched, it will have 7 stories in one sealed vault. If enough people dare to enter, 6 additional stories can be unlocked!

We all need healthy distractions! How about an #uncanny #comic about a sword with a complicated relationship with existence? @verybigcomics.com is #indiepublisher the works with real #artists and #writers. 4 people worked on this comic + an editor! Support them at www.kickstarter.com/projects/ver...

Harpe is a sword of legend, which naturally means it doesn't exist... Right? So how did it end up in the lost archive?

We all need distractions. I totally played with a magic 8 balls when I was a kid, & I found them fun but unsettling even then. So, how about an #uncanny #historyfiction about one? Go to #kickstarter www.kickstarter.com/projects/ver... and support #indiecomicpublishers w/ real #artists & #writers!

The Lost Archive is book 2 of the Museum of the Uncanny Collection. It contains at least 7 strange stories if the kickstarter succeeds, but if enough people dare to enter there are 6 other available stories!

Can an innocent toy predict the future? Could the Third Reich send objects through time? Will Churchill resist playing games with the outcome of world war 2?
