Also known as: Every shy sub's personal nightmare. ... ... unless?... ¬//¬' Found this old question in my backlog, and since we were already on the topic of bitchsuits, I thought now would be the perfect time to answer it! :3c
"Anonymous asked: How does it feel to wear a bitchsuit?"
Response text: "Bitchsuits tend to be more of a petplay thing, so I don't explore them much. That being said: Very fun restraint design! I'm a big fan of mobile restraint 'suits' and 'outfits' like this. Mercilessly teasing the wearer, while they helplessly flail their wrapped arms and legs all about... must be very delicious. ♥"
Alodo, seated on a pillow in a room, stuck in a full-body rubber bitchsuit, with his arms and legs each wrapped in leather pet walker casings, held tightly with more belts wrapped around them, and attached to either cuffs on his ankles or monomittens encasing his hands. He is gagged with a leather muzzle gag held tightly around his head with more belts, and his cat ears are covered with leather covers attached to the gag harness. He is wearing a collar with which he is held leashed to a hook on the wall behind him. Next to that hook, another hook holds up a list reading "Tease me!! I can't do a thing about it! Things I like:" followed by written text he must have put there himself before. He is anxiously shaking and shivering at the sight of that list, complaining loudly, but unable to escape. Next to him, a large box labelled "Toys for playing with me" contains various kinky playtime items. A few blobs of rubber float around him, controlled by Yous, peeking out from behind a nearby corner with a pleased look on their face, secretly watching over Alodo from afar.QA-free version

Latest interview for "Guns to Grunglers," a new series where I talk with non-sex workers in written and spoken form about sex worker rights. Today's guest is @araneacharlotte.hijumpboots.com, a trans former sex worker and current Metroid Dread (2021) speedrunner! CW: rape Links below!
The header for Charlotte Aranea's interview (at Persephone's Castle): https://persephonescastle.com/2026/09/from-guns-to-grunglers-an-interview-with-charlotte-aranea.html

This interview belongs to"From Guns to Grunglers," a series where I talk with non-sex workers in written and spoken form about sex worker rights (the latter finding friends in a increasingly pimp-like world, grunglers* the ideal choice); i.e., alongside my "Back to the Front!": Returning to Speedrunning and Metroidvania with a Ready Guide

As stated, Charlotte is a trans former sex worker and Metroid Dread speedrunner on YouTube; this interview is the written accompaniment to a previous spoken interview with Charlotte; re: "In a Man's World." It's not the first for this series, but does see me returning to speedrunning and Metroidvania (re: "Those Who Walk Away from Speedrunning," 2025); i.e., while combining things currently with sex worker voices!

(source skeet: Charlotte Aranea, 9/20/2026)

Charlotte is really nice, and I really appreciate her coming on to take part in this written interview for "Guns and Grunglers." Bitches needs friends; bitches stick together during fascism. Go support her work on YouTube, right now!Fair Warning: Discussing Rape as Mutual Survivors

Capital rapes by design; girls talk to stay alive after the "main event," rape something to prevent by discussing our abuse with each other (and the world, if we're able). Charlotte and I are both rape survivors* using Metroid as a means to codify and analyze rape prevention, doing so through that story and its heroine; i.e., as rape survivors, speaking through the Gothic hyphenation of virgin/whore. Trauma recognizes trauma, but I'm telling you (the reader) upfront to be transparent. Moreover, rape is something to revisit in ways we might control, often through games that skirt around rape in coded forms; i.e., as Metroid—a neoliberal Gothic tale repletion with penetrative moments tied to xenophobia-yet-nebulous threats of alien invasion—most certainly does: holding down victims and taking their life, dignity and/or data by force. Unless you've been there or know someone who has, you probably won't know what you're looking at; or for fascist audiences, will conflate bullying (which rape is) with strength, raping different things for the ruling class then calling it "rebellion." Fascist doesn't just make you stupid; it turns you into a rapist, doing so in different ways (e.g., TERFs, post-Radcliffe*).

*I say "post" because Radcliffe—a woman of relative middle-class privilege, in 18th-century Great Britain—wrote her novels (through a pen name) to reify and navigate rape mid-fakery: in consumable forms akin to Metroidvania, but specifically a text for those with more privilege (though still not the ruling class) to indulge in calculated risk (re: "Pieces of the Camp Map" and "Radcliffe's Tricky Tools," 2023); i.e., through material disputes, ghosts of rape used by the pirates in her stories to fleece the locals (which Scooby Doo [1969] would later capitalize on; re: "Radcliffe's Refrain," 2024): [...]

My own thoughts on the broader corporate handling of things. These merely add a pick me housewife to the roster, one Scholastic turned into Queen Bee during the '90s and '00s: persephonescastle.com/2026/04/dead...
Swap Harry Potter for The Turner Diaries, Birth of a Nation or The Handmaid's Tale, Mein Kampf, etc, and the heavy-lifting Rowling's Gothic pastiche does should be obvious: hide state abuse (and fascism) behind good-vs-evil hero stories sprinkled with swords and sorcery. They've been doing this since the Age of Imperialism, including the cowboys and Indians yarns (read: pulp fiction) that Tolkien and Hitler both consumed. It happened with centrist comic books like Captain America or Superman during WW2, and Tolkien in the 50s and 60s with LotR, and Lucas et Al in the 70s, 80s and 90s; and it's happening all over again with Rowling's own Blairite rehash under neoliberalism rotting into fascism.

"What is light without darkness?" A short piece on "bricks" or people who don't pass (especially trans people); i.e., reclaiming the label, ourselves, while inspired by famous artists in public. Dedicates to Dolly Parton and Tim Curry (read: role models of mine/Gothic sex symbols). Links below.

Another Brick in the Wall: On Not Passing and Trying Myself into Knots (dedicated to Dolly Parton and Tim Curry)

    August 29th, 2026

Bay Ryan, my husband and co-writer, likes to show me things—to "nerd snipe" me (re: "Who's Fredrick Brennan?" 2026). This time, he showed me a term I'd never heard before: "brick," or someone who doesn't pass (often trans women explains Mercury Stardust; i.e., while reclaiming the slur, below).

CW: bikini-style pinups and cropped/censored nudity (with fig leaves)

(artist, left: Mercury Stardust, 2026; right: Persephone van der Waard, 2013)

I'd like to quickly unpack that, thus talk about vis-à-vis my own work (dating back years, above); i.e., as a trans sex worker/educator tying myself into knots when trying to share my work with the public (my book series Gothic Communism: Liberating Sex Work under Capitalism through Iconoclastic Art [2023] commonly censored online). This means combating state predation (thus rape) through my art and body alongside my friends (e.g., Eva Android, below),below),

(artist: Eva Android; source: "Hailing Hellions: An Interview with Eva Android," 2026)

but also peers I haven't worked with (re: Mercury Stardust but also Tim Curry and Dolly Patron, below): where power is, and something to cryptonymically reverse abjection with, "on the Aegis" (classically Athena's mirror shield, one decorated with the corpses of dead monsters—including heroic ones painted as villains, in different virgin/whore ways, and seeing Creed's monstrous-feminine "walking the tightrope," cryptonymy-and-abjection (to show/conceal power in alien-fetish ways). Refer to my latest book volume and "State Vampirism" aka "Anarcho-Communism vs Marxist-Leninism" [2026] to unpack such ideas).

(source, left and right: Reddit, 1981 and 1982—the latter for The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas)

Note: This piece appears in the promotion series for my latest book volume, Intersectionality (2026). It also dedicates to Dolly Parton and Tim Curry, two queer icons whose own iconoclastic work tracks with mine; i.e., with my own anti-fascist, anti-racist and eco-Socialist work: merging sex work with non-sex work in visibly Gothic language (as my latest volume explores). Everyone loves the whore, openly or not, hypocritically* or not—someone alien, sexy and dark who stands out/sits on the precipice of exploitation, there to further or reverse state predation† (which requires abjection to flow power up or down). Dolly and Tim used that aesthetic to vamp it up (as Gothic sex symbols reifying poetically to make forceful arguments in different ways, below). In doing so, they also gave minorities a powerful voice (often drag queens, but also BIPOC and/or trans people; e.g., Bay loved both of them, as did myself and many others)! They chose to stand out, a Satanic sword and shield for the less fortunate, a temple to worship at (read: however straight and/or ace they were, offstage)! Rest in power, Majesties! —Perse [...]Photos of Tim Curry (1981) and Dolly Parton (from Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, 1982).A photo of me in 2017 (left), always a brick and still in the closet: next to how I appear in my mascot/alter-ego form (right).

My spoken interview with @johntheduncan.bsky.social, part of an ongoing series/promotion for my latest volume, Intersectionality (2026). A written interview is planned in the coming weeks. Links below.

"Mind the Gap; or, Bridging Activism and Academia: An Interview with John Duncan" (2026): An interview with queer PhD, research fellow and YouTuber/self-described "Disco Socialist" (or just "Communist," in the interview) John the Duncan (above)—one discussing his work alongside mine, bridging the gap between academia and activism but also academics and non-academics (and sex workers/non-sex-workers). Currently, we have a spoken interview on Google Docs (which I'll upload onto YouTube when my suspension lifts)—one that speaks more survey-style on a raft of different topics, including feminism, intersectionality, sex work and the Gothic. It's more conversational; i.e., to the extent that intellectuals "converse" about things, both survey and surgical when discussing special-interest topics from different vantage points: introducing ideas as accessibly as possible, yet challenging each other and finding ways to inject humanity and humor into the fold; e.g. (all above), John's mentioning George Michael's "Outside" (1998) when discussing activism and sex work out in the open (a phenomenon in Britain he called "cottaging"), me feeling somewhat shy/worried about alienation when reaching out arbitrarily to John (as Jules Verne hypothetically does with Poe), and John spilling the tea regarding Jason Moore* and the death of Jason Arday vs Nathan Cofnas (source: Gavin Blackburn's "Ghent University Suspends US Academic," 2026). However, a longer written interview is also planned between us, in the coming weeks! Stay tuned!

*The co-author of A History of the World in Seven Cheap Things (2017), who, in a now-deleted tweet, wrote: "This is absolutely horrendous. As interpreted by Ghent against Cofnas, any and every faculty member there could almost certainly be charged with a code violation" (above, bottom-right). In our interview, John expressed increasing disappointment with Moore (though he said Raj Patel is a perfectly nice person) [...]The collage alongside the summary for John the Duncan's interview with me: top-left, George Michael's "Outside" (1998); top-right, John Duncan and I; bottom-left, Hark! Also, @evaandroid.bsky.social is 1/4th black—a topic we discuss a spoken follow-up interview. It explores Eva being non-white; i.e., while appearing white, and the various struggles for fair-skinned biracial sex workers making interracial content tied to intersectional activism. Links below.
About the interviewee: Eva is someone I've followed for years—since Twitter initially and onto Bluesky while looking to continue working with sex workers; i.e., after my book series initially concluded (re: "It Began with a Whisper," 2025), and after several more books in 2026. In short, I saw his work recently, liked it as usual, and decided to reach out; they responded, and we went from there! Apart from this interview, I cite Eva's statements on Epstein and those like him (the ruling class) in "State Vampirism" (2026): "Your leaders are all child grooming monster men and yet somehow I'm the 'degenerate'?" (source skeet: January 31st, 2026). His Bsky bio reads: "he/it 26 || Hey it's Eva. Femboy fag and sex worker. This is my page where I post my nudes so 🔞🔞🔞. Antis go find a rope. ACAB 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈♠️." He's also antiracist, featuring interracial sex in his work (and being 1/4th black*): "Something of an incident recently occurred in my comments so I'm taking today's post to clarify: / I am not sorry for my body, the tattoos I put on it, or the prominent featuring of interracial love on my page. / Not now or ever, no matter how much racists whine" (source skeet: Eva Android, 5/18/2025).

*A topic that Eva and I explore in a spoken follow-up interview available on Google Docs (as of right now, thanks to YouTube AI "moderators" censoring me). The interview explores Eva being non-white; i.e., while appearing white, and the various struggles that emerge for biracial sex workers with fair skin making interracial content tied to intersectional activism more broadly (read: black liberation alongside trans rights and sex worker rights). Both the written and spoken interviews feature in my latest upcoming book volume, Intersectionality (2026).

My painting of Amanita Daukta: as a green-skinned witch leaning back and pulling her legs wide against a golden sunset. She has a blue top covered in pink moons and stars, pink thigh-high fishnets, black legwarmers, and carmine high heels. She has tan lines for her otherwise nude body, and curly black hair with a black witches hat with purple band and golden buckle atop her head. A red crystal loom sits ominously next to her and a rainbow shines, overhead. The ref image Amy took for the shoot/drawing: her leaning back, spreading and pulling back her legs while her tummy squeezes between her thighs and her big tits rest on top. She's nude except for some black boots, socks and lacy sleeves. Her hair is messy and black; her skin is pale; and her pussy is hairy and inviting.Several references: the Wicked Witch of the West, from The Wizard of Oz (1939), and Mickey Mouse from Disney's Fantasia (1940).Sex work review: While it probably won't shock anyone to learn how Amanita caught me—hook, line and sinker—with her pumpkin-sized boobs and butt, her boundless charms don't stop there! Equally enchanting was her activist work and sweet, nurturing demeanor. Before her physical beauty stole my heart, I saw and read her zine promotion: "Do you support sex work? Censorship is stripping us of resources and income. We are seeing our communities be erased [...] All support for this project goes back into my community—please read and consider pledging ❤️" (source skeet: msdaukta, 6/24/2026). This came with various promotional material, including this image on her zine Bsky account:

A woman after my own heart! I love witches but also sex worker rights, subversive art, and really hot humans (as I should, having written ten books on those topics)! Intrigued, I reached out; Amanita replied. Down to collaborate, she proved incredibly sweet—her heart and brains as big as her physical charms, their heady combination making me feel instantly at home. Sex-wise, Amanita straight-up slays in bed—both quick to communicate and someone who loves an active partner into dark mommies. Music to my puppygirl ears, I felt like a Gothic heroine having met her long-lost match/double. Faced with Amanita's dark comforts and disarming sweetness, her easy charm and feral-yet-comforting energies only increased once in bed (and between her thighs). In fact, she reminds me of another muse/friend of mine, Maddie Minx: "It's not everyday you get to meet someone who embodies your life's work, let alone see naked and play with accordingly. For me, that's Maddie—standing in for Medusa, my chosen sigil for Gothic Communism" (source). The same idea applies to Amanita—someone imposingly awesome like Hecate (the Greek goddess of witchcraft, crossroads and the moon) but comforting amid said power in ways that quickly helped me relax. AI sucks. @hankgreen.bsky.social is the latest tragic hero (villain), on par with the Modern Prometheus or Don Quixote as victims of technological abuse. I give my thoughts: in a series of shorts and notes responding to other workers having called him out, already (knitters). Links below.

"Time for a bit of the old ultraviolence." My drawing of the wonderful @amychann.bsky.social: genderswap Alex from Clockwork Orange + Renee Magritte's "The Son of Man"! Links below. #Communism #SexWorkIsWork #nsfwsky #realnsfw #18+ #modeling #kink #customcontent #Gothic #drawing #knifeplay
Amy Chan wearing a black bowler hat, rainbow thigh highs, burgundy top pulled up and tell-tale eyeliner over one eye. She's naked, otherwise, brandishing Magritte's green apple in one hand and a switchblade in the other. Her pussy looms, the carrier and her goods enclosed in a golden triangle surrounded by shadows. The reference image for Amy's illustration: inside a pale room lit by daylight. Laying back on pale sheets, Amy's hair is pink and she smiles: while wearing a navy top pulled up and thigh highs but nothing else. Her pussy is hairy and it and her tight asshole inviting the viewer inside! The poster for Kubrick's 1971 A Clockwork Orange alongside Magritte's 1964 "Son of Man."Sex work review: While sex workers are more than single words, sometimes one does the trick. And if I had to describe Amy Chan in a single phrase, I'd use "obliging." From the outset, she was incredibly friendly and providing in whatever I needed; i.e., from her to help raise awareness about sex worker rights. This included photos of her and her husband, but also taking shoot material and writing out interview questions. Amy gave me a timeframe for those (1-2, maybe 3-4 days), which she completed just as quick—an impressive feat, in general, but all the more so given Amy and her husband frequently travel and work on the road (which I suppose you'd get used to, but still feels incredibly impressive to me). I say "obliging" because Amy is a feminist, academic and survivor in her own right, working with her husband but also people she encounters on the road to help prevent harm. I suppose that's what happened, here—with Amy encountering me on "the road" that is the Internet, her goals overlapping with mine and me and my friend's work. Speaking of work, Amy's is lovely. Not only did she give forthcoming and genuine answers in her interview with me, but she also delivered a top-quality product with her husband for the shoot. Furthermore, she was willing to share material that would make the interview easier to promote (read: SFW images for Google search), and giving me essentially whatever I needed to promote them for a shared cause. All this is to say that working with Amy and her husband was a breeze; they communicated quickly and well, providing an excellent product in exchange—i.e., shoot material they also produced in-transit. Amy is super cute and authentic, and her relationship with her husband (who mainly holds the camera but sometimes plays in front of it) seems really sweet, as well! I'm absolutely chuffed to be able to work with them both and give voice to their work alongside mine. Go show 'em some love!

It's time to shake things up a bit going forward. : )
A previously unseen character speaks up.
The character features a hairstyle similar to a hime cut, with the front hair covering their eyes almost completely. Underneath, we can see them wearing a rubber blindfold. Their hair and their clothes are colored in a color gradient going from purple to blue. A tiny rubber capelet emerges from under their D-ring collar, though the D-ring has a pentagonal shape. On their upper arms, they're also wearing cuffs featuring D-rings. Around their waist, they're wearing a large belt held shut with a padlock that looks like a huge zipper. They say: "Being honest about myself remains a constant struggle, especially in regards to kink. Not gonna sugarcoat it, my future looks pretty depressing with how things have been going lately... So at this point, I'd already consider it a victory, if I could simply come out of my shell more in that regard. Present myself more as who I really am, instead of hiding my interests and acting as if I wouldn't have any of them."For a moment, the character just stands there smiling awkwardly at the camera.
As the shot zooms out, we can see that, underneath his purple-blue pullover, with long and wide open sleeves, he is wearing a black zentai suit. His ankles are wearing the same type of cuffs he is wearing on his upper arms. A moment later, he realizes he's still being stared at. "... huh, what? Who am I? Oh, right! I should probably introduce myself! I'm the new artsona for this place! A representation of myself, the artist. Yeah, so... I've realized that using one body for 2 different personas is not just a bit weird and confusing, but also very limiting... I want my OC to become more of their own thing, which my artsona-interference is not helping with. But also, if I want to come out of my shell more like I just pointed out, hiding behind a partially-fictional character just won't do me any good."Both the artsona and the previously established character of Alodo are shown T-posing, presenting their designs as if serving as a reference. Both are labelled. The artsona's label: "The artsona • Represents the actual artist (That's me!) • Also a programmer and gamer. • Too shy to let himself get tied up." Alodo's label: "The OC • A fictional character in a fictional world. • Yous' favorite plaything. • Too shy to admit that he wants to be tied up." The artsona continues: "So to fix this, from now on, me and my OC will be depicted as separate characters with distinct designs! The artsona will become the representation of myself as the artist, while the OC will continue as an entirely fictional character, with their own unique personality and their own history to explore."The artsona looks up at shots of himself and Alodo, with nametags underneath. The tags are implying name changes: For the artsona, from NekoAlodo to Alodo, and for the OC, from Alodo to Neko. The artsona: "The only problem I have right now is with their names... I'm called "Alodo" everywhere on the internet, yet my OC is also called "Alodo" in all of my content. Since my SFW name is also "Alodo", it'd make sense if I inherited that name. Then, the "Neko" from my kink name would be a good fit for my kink OC. So for now, let's try "Alodo" for me, and "Neko" for the OC, just to set a direction. We'll see how things develop from there. Probably the least confusing option for the long run..." The artsona turns towards the viewer, cautiously waving in their general direction. "Anyway, let me know what you think! We'll see each other again soon! ... figuratively speaking."

First video after Pride, but continuing to critique content creators in good faith on topics important to me. This one is @fdsignifier.bsky.social and his video "Bear is Evil... BUT!" (2026): rape but also rape culture/apologia and prevention vis-à-vis Curry Barker's #Obsession (2026). Links below.
video thumbnail: my mascot and Gothic Communism logo (top-left), me (bottom-left); top-right (left-to-right): Snidely Whiplash, the heroine from Obsession, the villain from Obsession, and F.D. Signifier; bottom-right: "Rape Culture in Obsession (and Those Who Defend It)."video description: Obsession is, first and foremost, a film about rape and rape culture; this video concerns those who defend said culture in different, less-obvious ways: lending the abuse(r) an air of plausible deniability while simultaneously downplaying or otherwise ignoring the power dynamics at play. As a rape survivor, Gothicist and sex worker, myself, the example I give here is @FDStreams-vl4lr ' "Bear is Evil... BUT!" (2026)—a "not all men," sympathy-for-the-devil "hot take" apologizing for rape; i.e., "Bear didn't know at first." And? Rape isn't about plausible deniability or "how you look at it," FD; it's about power and how it's exercised, furthering harm by removing consent: Bear removed consent with the spell, raping Nicky's mind upfront and her as a person (sexually or otherwise) every moment after whether he realized it or not. Ignoring that by advocating for Bear is, to a matter of degree, rape apologia.

FD's video: https://youtu.be/1_fL3LOF0coAs a rape survivor/activist who fights rape culture through Gothic media, I feel like FD's a bit out of his depth with this one. Long story short, you can rape* someone regardless of intent; i.e., "without realizing it." And the abuse Bear commits starts with the spell as taking Nicky's ability to consent away—in short, he rapes her mind, and then takes advantage.

*As I use it, rape means (from my definition as rape survivor and activist fighting rape culture) "to disempower someone or somewhere—a person, culture, or place—in order to harm them, generally through fetishizing and alienizing acts or circumstances/socio-material conditions that target the mind, body and/or spirit) […] Rape can be of the mind, spirit, body and/or culture—the land or things tied to it during genocide, etc; it can be individual and/or on a mass scale" (source: "Psychosexual Martyrdom," 2024). It can be camped during ludo-Gothic BDSM as I coined it (re: "Concerning Rape Play," 2025); i.e., "'rape' placed in quotes, mid-Gothic—much of which concerns rape and alien, imposturous things to play 'rape' out with, during calculated risk—to ironically undermine canonical norms/reduce means of actual harm, on a systemic level: that, when meaningfully unaddressed by widespread unawareness and unintelligence, further systemic abuse during unequal arrangements of power and status" (source: "Raising Awareness," 2025). We play "rape" out in quotes to prevent it on a systemic level, achieving the whore's revenge: In essence, capital/the state rape by design, which unpaid labor prevents by breaking Capitalist Realism mid-abjection; i.e., reversing abjection during ludo-Gothic BDSM (rape play) when having the whore's revenge (which "State Vampirism" explores at length): "to break the profit [and productivity] motive by making a world for which it (and rape) are no longer possible using these methods; i.e., by using the same demonic and slutty language capital does, but at cross purposes" [...]F.D.'s video, which I respond to in mine: https://youtu.be/1_fL3LOF0co

"If you prick me, do I not bleed? If you wrong me, shall I not revenge?" My drawing of the seductive @lilithmae.bsky.social having the best revenge of all: joy! Links below. #Communism #SexWorkIsWork #nsfwsky #realnsfw #18+ #modeling #kink #customcontent #vampire #Gothic #drawing
My drawing of Lilith Mae: as a vampire, pulling back their thick thighs and showing off the hellish-heavenly splendor of their undead body: puffy nipples, tummy rolls, a wet pussy, and paradoxical tan lines. The soles of their feet point skywards, and their hair swirls scarf-like to dance among the flames. Lilith—wearing a black top pulled up with stockings, a vampire cape, and nothing else—meets their end with dignity and joy. While their attackers cannot see anything but "enemy," Lilith's queenly rapture among the flames of a dying world reminds the hunters out of frame: "this is your fault" and "you, too, must die." So whereas Lilith is queenly and full of grace—delighting in these final moments: with all the dignity the state cannot take (thus eat)—their enemies are full of panic and fear beholding the usual suspect: one the ruling class cannot scapegoat to save the usual hypocrites. "We will perish together!"The ref image from the shoot material Lilith took for the painting: wearing a black top, stockings and shoes, Lilith otherwise naked to show off their puffy nipples, squishy tits, tummy rolls, tight manicured pussy and little asshole. Their red lipstick is killer, and they gaze vampirically at the viewer from a seemingly disadvantaged position.Sex work review: "She walks in beauty like the night." Lilith—a lady of the night—looks and acts the part. They have, as they put it, "a big butt"—one that is both pale, and whose neighboring parts are pierced on a petit bod. A bangin' bod, in fact, and one they use to weave a polity of awesome spells: "Here are beauties which pierce like swords or burn like cold iron; here is a book that will break your heart," C.S. Lewis wrote of Tolkien's Fellowship of the Ring (1954), which again leaps to mind here; i.e., with a heartbreaker baddie like Lilith (who appears in my latest essay—a polemic excoriating J.K. Rowling and TERFs, and one that cites Lewis and Tolkien a fair bit [while throwing shade their ways, too]: "Dead on Arrival; or, Rowling's Autopsy," 2026). To that, Lilith lives up to their namesake: queen of the night, of sin, and all manner of things they reclaim from pimp-like forces to use, instead, for good. They certainly look wicked, naughty and bad (from a Puritanical perspective, anyways), but like Margaret Hamilton, are actually a good witch thumpin' harmful attitudes—a protector, a teacher, a fucking black belt(!); they'll fuck you up and fuck your brains out! [...] I found Lilith to be busy but professional. Even so, they were communicative upfront, giving all the information I needed to make a deal with them; and in doing so, they set to work, making what we agreed to at the appointing time, at the appointed hour (the witching hour). To that, I have no regrets—indeed, was completely blown away by Lilith's final product. That, and they were nothing but sweet, the entire time. Fuckable and sweet (with an ass that don't quit and a black-and-red look that straight up slays), Lilith remained clear about their boundaries and time, thus allowing us to negotiate accordingly (to dispense with the pleasantries and get down to business). I didn't simply like the cut of their jib (or their vampire cape, more like); I fucking adored it!

She has on a lacy open top and nothing else. Her muffin is fuzzy/pierced by an orange dildo, and she's gazing wantonly at the camera.Sex work review: While it probably won't shock anyone to learn how Amanita caught me—hook, line and sinker—with her pumpkin-sized boobs and butt, her boundless charms don't stop there! Equally enchanting was her activist work and sweet, nurturing demeanor. [...] Down to collaborate, she proved incredibly sweet—her heart and brains as big as her physical charms, their heady combination making me feel instantly at home. Can you blame me? Scottish, busty and pale, she reminds me of a character I made, years ago: Ileana the Queen of the Night, whose own giant tits, pale curves, and hairy pussy (and love for parlor magic, despite commanding more formidable spells) leapt instantly to mind:

Similar to Ileana, Amanita struck me as honestly into her craft; i.e., there to make me feel good while loving it, too. It was hard not to admire someone so beautiful and genuine. [...] Built like a dream, her glorious structure yields curves-for-days in which to lose oneself: a fortress of pleasure and power stamped with castled enchantments...

My drawing of Fishnet Housepet as a hucow: with a navy blue tie-dye and light blue legwarmers, pink fishnets but otherwise nude. They're lying on a pink tie-dye blanket, have a pierced snout, blue hair and dark short horns. They're holding a camera and recording themselves. Their hucow pussy has blue hair and their nipples have dark heart-shaped cow spots. The ref image of Fishnet Housepet for my drawing of them: lying back and spreading their legs, squeezing their boobs together while showing off their pussy and tummy. They have on glasses and a checkered top with long sleeves. Their pussy is tight, puffy and hairy.source: https://vanderwaardart.com/sex-work/muses/fishnet-housepet

About the model: Housepet's Bluesky bio reads "🔞18+ | 30s | They/Them | SWer | Queer and autistic with a big ole 🍑 DM is for business only allmylinks.com/fishnethousepet"

Sex work review: Housepet is pure class. Both productive, punctual and professional, they offer a variety of perks when subscribed to on Fansly (starting at $7.99/month). These include: reduced prices for customs and videos, 35+ pics a week, solo and B/G fetish material, and exclusive unseen content. That's quite the deal, all on its own! However, they also make excellent customs unto themselves; i.e., I wasn't subscribed, but still could commission them by tipping on Fansly. In return, Housepet were quick to deliver a stellar product—both incredibly hot and fuckable, but also swift and confident in their delivery. This includes communicating their own boundaries—with Housepet letting me know their shooting window, while also explaining the ways in which the time of my purchase would affect when I got it (always appreciated when planning a shoot). In short, they kept me in the loop, were clear and up front about their preferences and limitations (whose joint pain limits the number of shoots they can do per week) and delivered the goods—all according to schedule. To that, I can only offer the highest praise when recommending Housepet and their work. Try them, yourselves; you won't regret it!

Gave it a watch, @domaindead.bsky.social. Had some fun turning this into a lecture of sorts—partly of my own research, partly on Indigenous cultures I've tried to synthesize when critiquing neoliberal space opera fare like Halo (and similar stories). Happy Pride! Link below.
source: https://nicksmovieinsights.com/2026/06/gothic-ludology-and-indigenous-themes-in-halo-and-similar-stories-a-response-to-dead-domain.html

I saw Dead Domain release a video on Halo (2001) and media literacy as sometimes flagging—meaning when people write off neoliberal media (most videogames) as fascist, when that's not always the case or helpful; i.e., doing so doesn't describe how these illusions work on teenager brains to uphold Capitalist Realism long after they grow up, nor how we can subvert them to reverse the abjection process therefore state predation under capital. To do so, I draw upon Gothic ludology merging Gothic poetics and the study of play, but namely my research of different shooters under neoliberalism—from Metroid and Mega Man to Doom to Halo alongside their palimpsests (e.g., Aliens, Starship Troopers, Frankenstein, Plato's Republic)—which I then marry to various Indigenous perspectives or codes I've picked up along the way (to camp space operas, which tend to play White Indian in hauntological settings): ancient kayfabe, the monstrous-feminine and Amazonomachia (Amazons and Gorgons), Maori haka and pukana, and Scottish-Irish threat displays tied to music and nature.video thumbnail: my mascot and Gothic Communism logo (top-left), me (bottom-left); top-right (left-to-right): art of Samus Aran (mine), Dead Domain's YouTube thumbnail about Halo, a photo of haka, pukana, and Scottish beekeepers; bottom-right: "Gothic Ludology and Indigenous Themes in Halo (and Similar Stories): A Response to Dead Domain."

My drawing of Allie Reads as a fawn (with cow ears): lying back against a spectral glow, green light emanating behind her while Allie spreads her enchanted pussy for the viewer. She has a doe nose, and cow horns, ears and tail. She's wearing fold-over burgundy boots with high heels, rose-colored opera gloves, and a lacy red choker with a gold bell, and white furry stockings. Sitting in cloudy moss, she peers through silver glasses to gaze at the viewer with ominous red eyes (a hunter's gaze). Foliage hangs all around her.The reference image Allie took, for the shoot: laying back and spreading her pussy for the viewer, and looking down at them through her glasses (and wearing her cow horns/ears). Sex work review: Like the girl next door (or nerd at the library giving you bedroom eyes), I found Allie both instantly alluring and incredibly hot. Super friendly up front, she's comfortable with herself and her boundaries (often happy to read a good book) but just as eager to learn someone else's (reading them like a book, as it were). I loved her whole aesthetic and outfits, at first blush—the whites and pinks, glasses and horns (the ears are so cute), but also plants and other things around her room (of one's one). Keats might write, "Thy shrine, thy grove, thy oracle, thy heat [...] Yes, I will be thy priest, and build a fane / In some untrodden region of my mind" (source: "Ode to Psyche," 1819). Whatever poet waxing Sublime, it's a real devil's workshop—of cute things and forbidden knowledge, Allie the fawn front-and-center as "stacked": the beauty and the brains with a touch of "beast," the small-but-hungry forest animal with an ass that doesn't quit; it arches, her tight little pussy (and bespectacled smirk) inviting you inside her own fen of dreams!

As of June 2026, my book series is predominantly written. I've decided, since then, to lean into videos and voice work that focus on trans/sex worker rights (and other minorities). If those mean anything to you, consider supporting me on #Patreon. Even $1/month makes all the difference. Link below.
My Patreon, in 2026: Videos and Voice Work [source: https://www.patreon.com/vanderwaardart/posts/my-patreon-in-161355421]

As of June 2026, my book series is predominantly written. I've decided, since then, to lean into videos and voice work.

I'm doing so to continue supporting myself and my friends, whose drawings of I'll continue making elsewhere (focusing on trans, sex worker and other minority rights). Again, I'm still doing illustrations—you can even commission me on here, if you really want to—but shall predominantly feature my artwork elsewhere. It's simply easier me to do, at this stage, and devote my art to those I help (sex workers) on a case-by-case basis accordingly—meaning in places where I actually have more control (my old blog and website).

Here on Patreon, I'll be focusing on regular daily/weekly videos that feature my voice, first and foremost; i.e., that I sample on YouTube, but release fully on here; e.g., video essays, book readings, react videos, and more. By supporting me on here, you'll gain access to uncensored and raw, full-size videos that, on YouTube, only appear in smaller sample sizes (~5-10 mins, usually). Furthermore, this is the only place you'll be able to access them; these videos and voice works don't appear anywhere else, including on my blog or website.

If helping trans workers in times of crisis means anything to you, consider supporting my work. Community support is something I rely on—both to continue making work, but also archive the past work of me and my friends: to help preserve and disseminate it, therefore us and who we are, as fascism rises world-wide. Even $1/month makes all the difference.

Video thumbnail: Gold font over a pink background, above my purple-and-green Gothic Communism logo (left of rightmost collage: Boris Karloff's eyes [as Frankenstein's Monster] over Peaches Braxton holding a mic): Trans Gothicist and Academic Sex Worker Weighs in on This Act We Call Mating / React #34: Natural vs Unnatural, or Sex and Pimping Nature under Cartesian Thought / Persephone, a white trans eco-Socialist (and academic whore) watches Peaches, a gay non-white woman and lover science, remind her audience that white straight weirdos dogmatizing science to control sex get the science wrong. Persephone weighs in, offering a GNC perspective but also critique of Cartesian thought using Gothic language: when dealing with abusers of the Cartesian system (and of science) in monstrous-feminine language that, however "unnatural" it sounds to bigots, can defend ourselves and all of nature from bad actors (who don't care about science; they only abuse it to pimp nature in bad faith, mid-abjection: so-called "mad science" we can camp).

"That's no ordinary rabbit!" My drawing of the fun-and-mysterious @strawberryskates.bsky.social: as a demon bunny with butterfly wings! Links below. #Communism #SexWorkIsWork #nsfwsky #realnsfw #18+ #modeling #kink #customcontent #chubby #goonette #hairygirl #mask #bunny #Gothic #drawing
My drawing of Strawberry Skates: wearing fishnet sleeves and stockings and nothing else but a choker and demonic bunny mask. They have long blue-and-pink hair—are holding glowing green flowers behind their head and spreading iridescent butterfly wings while standing in a reflective honey-colored fluid surrounded by a heady smoke. Their blue skin is colored in reflective dots, like a bird's plumage. The post I used for Strawberry's drawing: them inside a red room, reaching behind their head while wearing a demonic bunny mask. Their pale body is soft and shapely—with puffy nipples and a fuzzy inviting pussy.Strawberry's review:

Artist: Strawberry Skates

About: Strawberry's Bluesky bio reads "18+ ONLY MDNI she/they, 28, keeper of many cats 🐱 strawberryskates.carrd.co I post nudes, play games, and do whatever else I want on the internet. Chaos!! Anarchy!!!!!!"

Sex work review: Strawberry is a very chill, hot and delightfully weird person. I loved spending time with them, and painting them in a way that captured the essence of that weird hotness—someone friendly and genuine, and one I felt lucky to have come across if for a moment. They're a little mysterious (wearing a mask to maintain the intrigue) but tons of fun. Rest assured, you never know quite what you're in for with Strawberry Skates, save to say that it's always a good time! Indeed, people like them are very special and should be cherished year-round. So don't be shy when paying your respects!

Short response to "RoboCop Is Marx with Explosions" (2026) that goes over ideas about #Marx in #Gothic / #sci-fi and how I wish he and his spectres were a little less allegory (e.g., #RoboCop and Star Wars) and more front-and-center (e.g., Andor). New mic, which I'm still figuring out. Link below.

My first full essay since moving, one for #Pride critiquing @brigitteempire.bsky.social saying "satire is rarely-if-ever praxis." I respect Brigitte's work a lot, but have to disagree. But I try to critique her in a fair and fun way (read: the #Gothic, #Amazons, Mary Shelley and more)! Link below.
This piece responds to Brigitte Empire's video, "How The Boys Failed at Satire" (2026), where she effectively calls satire "dead"; i.e., referring to liberal-penned stories like The Boys (2019) but not really trying to separate different kinds of satire. The world is simply "past it," now—with Brigitte throwing the baby (Jesus or otherwise) out with the bathwater. "If we're going to get out of this world-beyond-parody alive," she implores, "we're going to have to build an alternative [through action]. This is something satire cannot achieve. [...] Satire is rarely-if-ever praxis [emphasis, me]" (timestamp: 45:28). It's one for the books, and where my books (on Gothic Communism) draw a completely different conclusion—the opposite, in fact!

Our focus here is Gothic satire, operating in duality to liberate workers through performance; i.e., power is performed (re: "Notes on Power," 2023) but commonly in illusory forms that many historically discount or replace, in bad faith; e.g., Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, the Modern Prometheus (1818), which Kripke and Amazon parody as blindly as one can—taking Shelley's satirical benchmark (superhumans and Cartesian abuse/mad science) and breaking it for profit (exploitation, which Shelley's novel fought against; re: "Making Demons," 2025). The fault lies with them, not Shelley, the Gothic or satire more broadly. To say otherwise feels like surrender, Brigitte's oversimplifying of satire a massive mistake. To disabuse her of this notion, I'll draw upon my own expertise (the Promethean Quest, but also Amazons, ludology and Creed's monstrous-feminine).

First, we'll give the gist, followed by a setup half and demo half; "Setup" states my intent and goals as clearly possible, while "Demo" hopefully demonstrates everything in a fun and educational manner, "when in Rome" (re: Amazons and the Promethean Quest, but also butts, below). "Are ya ready, kids?" We're playing with power!Commonality and Respecting Brigitte's Work while Dealing with Gothic Doubles

First, common ground. Why critique Brigitte—someone I clearly respect—when we obviously have so much in common (e.g., Amazons, ludology and Gothic, below)? In fact, we're practically doubles:

(exhibit 1: Artist, top-left and mid-top-left: Brigitte Empire; far-bottom-left and right: Persephone van der Waard. Brigitte's YouTube page reads, "Tongue-in-cheek video essays by Britain's least fake columnist" sounds both truthful and highly sarcastic [as Matthew Lewis once did, followed by Wilde, Price, myself and others]. In my case, and borrowing from older Gothic auteurs, I'm literally a Gothic ludologist specializing in Metroidvania, BDSM and Amazonomachia [re: "From Masters to PhD," 2025]. Fakery is something to play with to perform power [all ideas we'll touch on, deeper in]—something both Brigitte and I are guilty of when playing with the same stuff to achieve similar goals [the same goal, I would argue: liberation from inside empire]. The Gothic is holistic and allows for this, in duality. For one, sex is the most controlled thing in the world—the very thing the ruling class demand to survive, and which they tokenize through Amazons [quite successfully] to police state territories; i.e., whores policing whores in deeply TERF-y ways, their Neo-Gothic revival in the 1800s [under bourgeois nuclear models] seeing Ancient-Athenian propaganda brought back to life [which The Boys very much is: "Girls get it done!"].Restating My Goals Before We Start; or, Celebrating Satire in Gothic Forms

(model and artist: Scyllacibin and Persephone van der Waard)

Again, I wrote "Response" regarding someone I respect on a topic we both celebrate. Before we start, then, I want to stress how my focus here, however "spicy" it comes across, isn't Brigitte and exposing her like a Scooby Doo villain—as there's less to expose, I think, than simply a poor thesis to dissect and learn from (versus a so-called "progressive" like Rebecca Watson*; re: "Nancy Drew Syndrome," 2025). Rather, I wish to present Gothic as something to praise in hopefully persuasive ways: utility amid confusion, which trans people are currently dealing with on either side of the pond (the same proverbial "boat"). Capitalist Realism sows confusion, and generally on the homefront as fallen, up-for-grabs, and open to interpretations that hauntologically reify and send power up. But for a moment, especially when capital is weak (the "bust" side of the boom-or-bust equation), power is out-of-joint/displaced and free to wander in ways workers might seize and use for ourselves: within contradiction and cryptonymy (concealment and revelation) as merely part of the human condition and its language. Worker is other (woman or otherwise), nature monstrous-feminine free to roam.

*Who, when scratched, was a huge dick about it. A Demonstrational Response to Brigitte Empire; or, a Question of Duality Regarding Satire as "Dead"

Ironies aside, and having mostly prefaced and vented my own nerdy outrage concerning Brigitte's dubious thesis statement (which I don't want to rush back to, just yet), you now know my stance on Brigitte's words, and could stop reading here, if you wanted (that's your chance to bow out, should you choose). The rest is merely demonstrating what I already said, having fun in the bargain: while holding the paddle and using it in Amazonian ways that, whatever the lesson they teach, don't direct at Brigitte 100% of the time!

(artist: In Case)

As I do, I still respectfully yet full-throatedly disagree with her argument; i.e., without beating a dead horse (though we shall inspect its corpse). As we respond, let me continue saying why to stress Gothic's satirical importance, offering up something less rigid and myopic in the bargain (re: ludo-Gothic BDSM, above). To surrender that value (as Brigitte did, and maybe Chaplin before her) is to ironically become unable to affect change, thus relegate ourselves to whatever prisons await. Fascism doesn't die if you make fun of it; it dies through the violence of denormalizing it in different ways (the Gothic imprimatur of violence, terror and monsters, aka sex and force through morphological expression serving worker rights). Let that be your mask and mirror, your sword and shield! A poetic lever to move the Earth (from Archimedes to us)!

My drawing of Maddie Minx as Sovereign the Reaper from Mass Effect 1—with some liberties taken for a humanoid design: granite-grey skin like a tombstone come to life, thick thighs (take lives) dappled with spots of age and power, a black bone-like tail and metal spine set with glowing red lights, spiky antlers rimmed with lightning, four hellish furnaces at their back, a giant ass, lights on their feet as they crouch (ready to attack), a faceful of tentacles and a glowing red eye staring back at you. A guardian holding a glowing, red-hot sword, waiting for trespassers. A tight coochie all daring entry whole its owner squats on volcanic soil, the rim of a mighty crater. The pose reference image Maddie took as part of their shoot, and the one I used for their drawing: kneeling on the floor while sitting with their fat delicious ass on their white shoes—with Maddie wearing a coral sweater, their short hair styled nicely for the shoot. They mighty mighty!Sovereign as they appear in-game: a black ship hovering the void, ringed with red bolts of deadly lightning.Sex work review: It's not everyday you get to meet someone who embodies your life's work, let alone see naked and play with accordingly. For me, that's Maddie—standing in for Medusa, my chosen sigil for Gothic Communism (re: "Always a Victim," 2024). Beyond their frankly awesome tattoos—and combined with Maddie's being both incredibly friendly and hot, but also capable—they boast a stellar work ethic, bangin' bod, caring personality and worldly sense of camaraderie. Maddie is the Gorgon; i.e., as I see it—both seeking and "finding Medusa" while standing among similar cuties' "terrifying powers," having the whore's revenge (escaping the pimp while still enjoying sex work as the vector of escape/material gain; re: "Rape Reprise," 2024). But few emblematize Her Majesty—the Big Whore and her intimidating aura —quite so keenly as Maddie. It's not just an otherwordly aesthetic, but ability to command power in paradoxical ways both strict and gentle, light and dark, etc; i.e., like Medusa, whose "shadow" (simulacrum) Maddie nails with aplomb. It's "to meet someone where they are," my husband explains—appearing fierce but actually a sign of respect (as the Maori phrase it), one made seemingly to ask, "Are you here for peace or war? The land welcomes you and you it" through various profound exchanges crossing boundaries; i.e., building a rapport between host and visitor(s) from tapu to noa (a ritual of sacred restriction* to ordinary/safe, moving energy in warrior-like ways).

*"The ātea (space outside)," Bay explains, "is considered the domain of the God of War (Tūmatauenga), while the wharenui (meeting house) is the domain of the God of Peace (Rongo). The ceremony moves visitors from the domain of war to peace." It's very Gothic!

Sex work review: There's something about puppy folk that's fun work with. Even the feral ones have a code, conditioning and rules through play frankly the point of the scheme. Pitty Peeve isn't feral, as far as I can tell, but of a more playful and cuddly variety (all are fine, to be clear). To that, working with them was straightforward and delightful—with Peeve responding well to instruction and giving a lovely result. This isn't a shock, given their master/pet arrangement speaks to rules that are outlined ahead of time and followed after. In their case, the ability to follow instructions carried over seemingly a priori to our exchange, but in truth comes from the stability their relationship to their own master gives them. That being said, Peeve also provided their own rules and boundaries; i.e., I am not their master and they treated me with respect, mid-exchange. As peers, essentially. It was a treat, from start to finish. However, so is their soft body and amazing booty—with a fat puppy butt that begs to be spanked, then fucked. I especially loved their soft tum, hairy pussy and fursona. Indeed, there's a lot of Communist potential in the furry community (even when someone isn't out-and-out identifying as one, which Peeve doesn't)—with pups or otherwise generally merging kink and BDSM to facilitate agreements that, unto themselves, demonstrate moments from daily life as exchange. Peeve handled all with ease—a most excellent pup that left this puppygirl feeling spoiled! Go give 'em a treat!

"Jinkies!" My drawing of the succulent @scyllacybi.bsky.social: as #Velma (with a big mystery to solve, one between her legs). 1/2 Read her review: vanderwaardart.com/sex-work/non... #Communism #SexWorkIsWork #nsfwsky #realnsfw #18+ #modeling #kink #customcontent #ScoobyDoo
My drawing of Scyllacybi as Velma from Scooby Doo: leaning back against a fence (where a ghost with glowing red eyes behind it lurks, among lots and lots of spooky mist and fireflies). Wearing a tight orange top and knee socks with red pumps, Velma appears to have misplaced her skirt. In turn, her camel toe is hidden behind a conveniently placed black, baton-sized flashlight—one throwing her comely face into stark relief. Spooky!

The reference image for Scylla's drawing: her pulling her legs back and squeezing a trans-colored monster dildo deep in her hairy coochie. Her face is the mask of fear, a fatal portrait while her glasses reflect ghostly images back at the viewer. Hot, check; spooky, check! She's the full package!Part one of Scylla's review:

Sex work review: "Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a bell that summons thee to Heaven or to Hell." In this case, Scyllacybi is that bell.

The name should clue you in: "Scylla" + "psilocybin." The latter is a drug-like compound existing in many mushrooms, letting the eater "trip" once consumed (and for no set purpose). The former is a famous female monster with animalistic qualities (similar to Medusa); i.e., one that, when poetically "eaten," may subversively comment on women's role as vaso vagal sex object, in monomyth stories: men stab monsters, stealing the hellish power said beings contain vampirically for themselves once "slain" (the so-called "death of the Gorgon" an unkillable myth, but one not true for individual care and sex workers, aka "women's work). This cuts both ways, cryptonymy-and-abjection. In ancient myth, Scylla is a water monster opposite Charybdis—a primordial "maneater" framing nature as monstrous-feminine, and classically authored by men for men (from cops to the ruling class): to immediately fear and "heroically" poach under patriarchal models, and all while consumed in drug-like ways exploiting and "taming" nature into the future. Such well-trod routes of conquest (and ritual violence) categorically uphold the state's nuclear model—one to dominate nature offstage as "homewrecker" while going hypocritically "to Queen Maeb," onstage (as Shakespeare's Mercutio put it, in Romeo and Juliet). But in the hands of any recieving such abuse, the canonically baneful qualities of such stories (and their functionally "fuzzy" metaphors) can become a balm; i.e., for crafty "animal women" like Scylla to camp the original myth into something less harmful, yet remaining fearsome in different poetic ways (often public nudism, its weapons-and-armor nudity granting "deathly" sexual-to-asexual commentaries on penetrative violence, above). [...]Like a mushroom, Scylla's "potion" is herself—meaning both small and delicate but also darkly delicious; i.e., seemingly dangerous but paradoxically safe and fun when used responsibly (and respectfully). Thus she treads "dangerous" waters during ludo-Gothic BDSM, and whose calculated risk pulls players into spaces never fully safe or removed from harm (especially these days)—all to deliver Stygian delights that "torture" the hero and "throw wide the doors of Hell." Doing so chaotically opens the mind to "more things between Heaven and Earth": a campier and more empowering-if-liminal kind of monstrous-feminine—not to unironically summon, kettle and destroy in monomyth scapegoat language (a given pursuer "slaying the dragon" or beheading Medusa, burning the witch, caging the unicorn, etc), but position in liminal Promethean spheres that open dark portals for uncanny (and repeat) exploration. So do liberation and exploitation share the same stages, costumes and bodies. So does Scylla, from Shakespeare to us, present the human condition as already alien and reprobate; i.e., "when in Rome" for the usual suspects hunted and killed by state actors in bad faith (cops), and whose dehumanizingly abject, cops-and-robbers qualities paradoxically become our key to salvation when reclaimed through exposure. It's the Numinous "mystery" to solve, meaning from Radcliffe to Velma (above) to Scylla—playing such fantasies out in deeply palliative ways, and advertising their notably confounding effects, accordingly! Revelation opens the doors to a perpetual inquiry. There, confusion and knowledge walk Gothically arm-in-arm. The same goes for rebellion as Gothic (which Communism historically is, fought over by different parties; re: "State Vampirism," 2025). Cryptonymically showing and hiding this-or-that behind different invisible buffers, whatever transpires typically happens "in Hell," stripping mid-persecution to get "down and dirty." [...]

History is a set of lies that people have agreed upon. Even when I am gone, I shall remain in people's minds the star of their rights, my name will be the war cry of their efforts, the motto of their hopes (source).

—Napoleon Bonaparte, while on Alba

Note: I would specifically revisit this piece in "Inside the Hall of Mirrors" (2024), where I discuss Wynn vis-à-vis her reading of Jordan Peele's Us (2019). —Perse, 4/21/2025

Whereas fascist feminists are Dark Medusa or Hippolyta weaponized against labor by the state, queer bosses are moderately conservative in relation to their own trauma, gender-critical condescension and reactionary violence; they are privileged queer persons who, once token, use gender-critical rhetoric against people marginalized differently than themselves (which turns into prison hierarchy of the abuser acting more marginalized during vengeful, but also sanctimonious DARVO tactics).

We'll explore so now featuring Natalie Wynn, aka Contrapoints. Not always trans, but always centrist, people like Wynn usually attack non-binary people while acting better than out-and-out TERFs (their trauma, thus casus belli, is legitimate when deputized by the state into its monopoly on legitimate violence). Since non-binary people often identify as trans (Zeuhl did, for example), this makes binary trans enbyphobes specialized TERFs ...NERFs?. Whatever you call it, that's what Wynn is: a token cop-in-disguise (therefor traitor) whitewashing fellow fascists with moderate veneers; e.g., whitewashing Hillary-fucking-Clinton through trans cryptonymy glitz bandied about by a token SocDem:
