He gets so shy when he notices your gaze upon him... Time to fix that with a seamless rubber hood! Let's make *extra* sure it won't come off anymore... ♥️

A sequential series of shots of Alodo, as he gets a seamless rubber hood pulled over his head by Yous. His hands stuck in monomittens, his arms wrapped up in tape behind his back, and his torso wrapped in a leather harness, he looks up at Yous, and thus also the viewer, with a thick blush on his face, as the hood gets placed on top of his head. Yous then quickly pulls it down over his head. The hood is a seamless full-head coverage, with a small air tube as its only feature. Quickly, duct tape is wrapped around Alodo's neck, sealing the hood around his head. In addition, he gets equipped with a leather collar, which gets padlocked shut on him. Now with the hood properly stuck on Alodo, Yous pats the catboy's now rubber covered head, causing Alodo to make quiet noises of subtle appreciation.

Gotta find the positives in things... I've seen some comments implying that Sonalodo should not be shown in bondage, so here's my official objection to that one. : )

Alodo wearing a spreader bar on his ankles, and another one designed like stocks holding his mittened up hands and collar level. He is blushing and shuffling about awkwardly, unable to move.

"Anonymous asked: Would you rather be stuck in a spreader bar or bondage mittens for a day? (or both ;3)" Sonalodo, wearing a spreader bar, making an awkward step forward. Response text: "I have experimented with ankle spreader bars enough to know that they wouldn't pose much of a challenge. They don't really 'disable' you as much as they just make you walk and sit kinda funny."
Sonalodo, now wearing mittens, instantly loses his grip on the coffee cup he was holding. Response text: "Mittens, however, I imagine to be much more of a proble- AH!"
In the corner of the image, a chibi Alodo wearing spreader bars and mittens presents himself. Accompanying text: "There was too much empty space here, so here's a chibi Alodo to entertain you."

Response text: "... then again, since you didn't mention what type of spreader bar you're thinking of, there may be options here that would be much more difficult to get through a day with..." Sonalodo now wears stocks in the form of a spreader bar that hold his mittened hands in place. He looks down onto his cup, placed on a table in front of him. Sonalodo: "... how do I even pick this up now?"
Sonalodo is now depicted seated in front of his computer, drawing this very art, while having the ankle spreader bar equipped. Response text: "But as fun as the idea of a whole day in mittens might sound, I like keeping myself safe, and having my hands restrained would be very risky solo. So, I'd have to choose the ankle spreader bar. ... though at least that might help me stay focused on my projects, now that I couldn't really get up and wander about absentmindedly anymore..."

You ask me how long it takes to make my art, I respond by describing my whole art process from start to finish. ... which, as it turns out, is *quite long*... 🧵1/5

The artsona on the side: "This is actually very difficult to estimate. There are a lot of steps to this process, including some that have to happen before I even put the first lines on canvas. The overall time also depends heavily on the complexity and scope of the work. Not to mention, an all-inclusive estimate would also need to include the time I spend thinking about the project, even when I'm nowhere near my computer. For some projects, that can be a lot of time..."

Scriptwriting: 5min - infinity per panel.
The artsona is typing away at a typewriter.
"To start, what's easy to forget is that scriptwriting can be a surprisingly big portion of the whole process. Between initial outline, fleshing out the idea and writing out the detailed script, a lot of time can pass. Some ideas spend years in this stage before I finally commit to drawing them out. ... some ideas also never exit this stage, remaining in my ever-growing backlog to this day..."

Sketching: 15min - 2hr per panel
The artsona is doodling various things on a big whiteboard.
"Once a script (and my confidence in it) matured enough, I start sketching out the individual parts of the art. I don't care much for actually assembling the whole page at this point, nor about exact details. I just want the lines to start existing and the composition to start forming. Fun fact: My initial sketches tend to be exceptionally low-resolution. (I just find those easier to work with.) There's also a lot of trial and error involved with this step. Like with this drawing! That one looked like this at first." The text is pointing at a smaller, alternate version of the art of the artsona doodling.

Composition: 1min - 30min per panel
The artsona is moving around and rescaling a lot of digital boxes floating all around him.
"Once that's done, it's time to assemble the actual composition. To start, this means rescaling all the various, incredibly small sketches to fill the page, and to position the panels so that the page is filled efficiently. I also plan out the placement of speech bubbles, moving elements around so that the text fits, while ensuring that they're presenting a natural flow. For comics like mine, some people may reflexively start reading panels from right to left, instead of the intended left to right. So finding a composition that 'hints' viewers into the correct read order is another part of this."

It's time to shake things up a bit going forward. : )

A previously unseen character speaks up.
The character features a hairstyle similar to a hime cut, with the front hair covering their eyes almost completely. Underneath, we can see them wearing a rubber blindfold. Their hair and their clothes are colored in a color gradient going from purple to blue. A tiny rubber capelet emerges from under their D-ring collar, though the D-ring has a pentagonal shape. On their upper arms, they're also wearing cuffs featuring D-rings. Around their waist, they're wearing a large belt held shut with a padlock that looks like a huge zipper. They say: "Being honest about myself remains a constant struggle, especially in regards to kink. Not gonna sugarcoat it, my future looks pretty depressing with how things have been going lately... So at this point, I'd already consider it a victory, if I could simply come out of my shell more in that regard. Present myself more as who I really am, instead of hiding my interests and acting as if I wouldn't have any of them."

For a moment, the character just stands there smiling awkwardly at the camera.
As the shot zooms out, we can see that, underneath his purple-blue pullover, with long and wide open sleeves, he is wearing a black zentai suit. His ankles are wearing the same type of cuffs he is wearing on his upper arms. A moment later, he realizes he's still being stared at. "... huh, what? Who am I? Oh, right! I should probably introduce myself! I'm the new artsona for this place! A representation of myself, the artist. Yeah, so... I've realized that using one body for 2 different personas is not just a bit weird and confusing, but also very limiting... I want my OC to become more of their own thing, which my artsona-interference is not helping with. But also, if I want to come out of my shell more like I just pointed out, hiding behind a partially-fictional character just won't do me any good."

Both the artsona and the previously established character of Alodo are shown T-posing, presenting their designs as if serving as a reference. Both are labelled. The artsona's label: "The artsona • Represents the actual artist (That's me!) • Also a programmer and gamer. • Too shy to let himself get tied up." Alodo's label: "The OC • A fictional character in a fictional world. • Yous' favorite plaything. • Too shy to admit that he wants to be tied up." The artsona continues: "So to fix this, from now on, me and my OC will be depicted as separate characters with distinct designs! The artsona will become the representation of myself as the artist, while the OC will continue as an entirely fictional character, with their own unique personality and their own history to explore."

The artsona looks up at shots of himself and Alodo, with nametags underneath. The tags are implying name changes: For the artsona, from NekoAlodo to Alodo, and for the OC, from Alodo to Neko. The artsona: "The only problem I have right now is with their names... I'm called "Alodo" everywhere on the internet, yet my OC is also called "Alodo" in all of my content. Since my SFW name is also "Alodo", it'd make sense if I inherited that name. Then, the "Neko" from my kink name would be a good fit for my kink OC. So for now, let's try "Alodo" for me, and "Neko" for the OC, just to set a direction. We'll see how things develop from there. Probably the least confusing option for the long run..." The artsona turns towards the viewer, cautiously waving in their general direction. "Anyway, let me know what you think! We'll see each other again soon! ... figuratively speaking."

Yous: "Well, if that's how it's going to be..." Yous crawls into Alodo's padded cell. Alongside him, a large amount of sentient rubber floats into the cell as well. He turns to the viewer, winking at them. Alodo can be seen in the background, still stuck deep in his subspace. The sentient rubber starts approaching him. Yous: "... might as well enjoy this moment for a little while longer, huh? Privacy, please!" Immediately after, the door to the cell slams shut around the two. The sentient rubber delivers a large padlock to the cell door and locks it shut. Shortly after, various muffled moans can be heard from within the cell.

#straittosubspace Part 09 Can't descend any deeper now. He has arrived. 💜

Alodo, already gagged, blindfolded and collared, wearing a thoroughly strapped up transport jacket, gets put into a rubber bodybag. Once the bag settles, it covers him seamlessly from head to toe in one continuous cover of rubber, seemingly void of any way to remove it again. He then gets wrapped up in multiple layers of duct tape of varying widths, squeezing him tightly within his containment.
His thoughts are visible to us:
"I want it... I want it... I want it!! I want to feel it all! I want to feel helpless! It feels so goo-oo-ood...! Embrace me mo-o-ore! Wrap me tighter! Harder... harder! I want to feel it mo-o-o-ore! Seal my body away! Trap me inside this cocoon! Leave no spot unrestrained! Put it all away! All of it! All of me! Leave me no more options!"

He is now fully mummified from head to toe, his rubber encasement having fully disappeared under the multiple layers of duct tape.
He now gets wrapped up further by a large amount of belts, which snake all around his whole body, squeezing him down even further. This exceptionally well restrained Alodo then gets lowered into an extremely thick steel enclosure, the space inside of it laced with padded walls, and being exactly large enough to just barely squeeze him inside.
His thoughts continue to spiral around the intense emotions this creates in him:
"Don't let me out! Don't you dare let me out!! Don't let me escape!... Make me... unable... Unable to say anything... Unable to do anything... Take control away from me... Force me to stop!... Remove me from this awful self... Make this reality disappear... Disconnect me from this awful world..."

The steel enclosure was shut around him, an abstract art of him now becoming recognizable on the front of it. The whole enclosure is held shut by various heavy padlocks, and wrapped up with chains to hold it shut even more firmly, as well as to anchor the whole thing in place.
Alodo is now completely stuck inside, with no part of his heavily restrained body visible to the outside world, and with no chance left to escape.
Once inside, his thoughts slowly calm down, as he fully accepts his predicament:
"Lock my mind away... Lock ME away... Throw away the keys... Forever stuck... unable to escape... No more release... Trapped... forever... Squeezed tightly, without break... without mercy... no mercy... NO MERCY! All my thoughts... aligned... Finally... at peace... Locked away... forever... Forever... secured... Forever... mbraced... Forever... yours... Forever... held... Forever... safe... Forever... free..."

Alodo stuck in his straitsuit, gagged, blindfolded and deafened. The rubber walls of the small padded cell he is in have inflated to the point of squishing him down from all sides, rendering him completely immobile. The rubber walls around him creak and squeak all over as they keep pushing against him. He is breathing heavily through an air tube extended directly to his nose, moaning loudly.
In the darkness surrounding his tight space, we can read his thoughts:
"It's g-getting tighter... C-can't move... C-can't e-escape... C-can't s-stop it... Squeezed from aa-a-all sii-i-ides... So-o t-ti-i-ight... S-so wo-o-onderfully t-tight..."

Yous looks at a clock, noticing the time.
In response, he moves to the back of the cell Alodo is in, where he locates a device with an air hose attached to it. The device is attached to the back of the cell.

The device appears to control some sort of air pump. Yous turns it on. Immediately, inside the cell, the padded walls begin to shift.

Alodo, still in his restraints, notices that the walls around him are expanding. As they approach him from all sides, slowly making the room he is stuck in smaller and smaller, he begins to panic. Within minutes, the rubber padding on the walls expanded so much, that it is starting to squeeze him from all sides.

#straittosubspace Part 04 Feels like something is changing...

Alodo is still stuck in his straitjacket suit, fully sensory deprived. The padded cell around him has completely disappeared. He focuses on his tied up arms, trying to get them free We can read his thoughts as he struggles.
"No... NO! I need to get out...! But I can't-... I can't even... move... my arms..."
He tries to move his legs, but they are cuffed together with a short chain.
"My legs... like... paralyzed... But I still feel them... I can still feel the soft padding of this room under me. This room... so soft... so... comfortable..."

We can hear the white noise coming from the thick headphones covering his ears. The words "Noise Cancelling" and "White Noise" are visible on the device.
"I can't... hear... anything... Is someone... there...? Can't see... can't hear... hearing only... my thoughts... This isolation... so... overwhelming... I can't... what am I... supposed to..."
He tries to speak, but the heavy rubber muzzle gag stuck on his mouth prevents him from doing so, turning all his speech into incoherent mumbling.
"Maybe I should I call for help...? But... I'm so helpless... What would this... "help"... even... do... to me...? I can't... even... speak... can't... defend myself... can't... explain... can't... mh..mmmh... Mmh-nh-N-No! No! What am I-"

We zoom out a bit, and his full predicament comes back into view. He is shivering slightly. His thoughts are becoming more and more conflicted.
"My heart... racing... n-no, my thoughts- must. stay... focused... I feel so trapped... so helpless... Haah.... it's so mm... much...! I... can't! I... want!-... I... I am-... N-no! I am not-..."

#straittosubspace Part 03 There is no escaping the isolation now...

Various shots of Alodo inside a very small padded cell, wearing a clear white fullbody rubber catsuit straitjacket hybrid. His arms are restrained by the jacket and his ankles are cuffed together. He is gagged with a rubber muzzle gag, blindfolded with a leather eye mask, and wearing noise cancelling headphones to deafen him. All restraints are padlocked shut on him. He is struggling to get out of his suit, but despite his greatest efforts, makes no progress at all towards escape. As he struggles, the room around him slowly disappears, being replaced with perfect darkness that approaches him from all sides.

As he struggles, we can read his thoughts:
"This isn't good... I can't tell what's going on anymore. I need to get out of this suit! Out of this cell! But this whole suit holds me so tightly... I don't know if I can wriggle out of this at all. If only I could get my mouth free... This gag is so excessive... What do I do?... There has to be something, right?... Maybe if I pull in this direction? ... no, I just end up pushing myself into this other belt... Can I hold onto something with my boots maybe? No, I can barely move them, and their soles are too thick... Guh... this floor... so soft... Can't try to scrape things off of me, either... Wait, did they padlock these things shut on me?? How am I supposed to... I can't... break through... I still haven't made any progress..."

Alodo is still stuck in his suit, having made no progress towards escape. The room around him has completely disappeared now, leaving him stuck in complete darkness. His struggling has ceased, as he rests quietly on the floor.

His thoughts continue to be readable to us:
"No... it's too tight... too strong... No matter what I do, It all just keeps holding on to me... It just won't budge... It's all so tight... I'm stuck... Stuck in this tight, unyielding suit... Stuck in this tiny, empty room... How am I supposed to get out...? But I am supposed to get out!... ... am I supposed to get out?... I am... trying... to get out... right? What am I... trying... to do...?"

"No more sight..."
Alodo gets blindfolded with a leather eye mask, which is strapped around his head and padlocked shut.
"...no more speech..."
He gets gagged with a rubber muzzle gag, padlocked shut around his face.
"...and no more sound."
His eyes get covered with a pair of noise cancelling headphones.
"All your senses sealed away... stuck inside your tiny, padded cell... all locked shut, with no way out."
The three padlocks on the outside of the padded cell snap shut.

Alodo is now stuck inside his tiny padded cell, wearing his buckled up straitsuit, gag, blindfold and earmuffs. He is shaking slightly and making quiet gagged noises.
"Trapped and helpless... Stuck in darkness... Slowly losing your grip on reality... All your senses locked away... and soon, lost inside your own mind..."

His ankles are cuffed together, his arms are buckled up inside the straitjacket, and he is wearing a collar attached to a rope. The other end of the rope is held by Yous, who has a mischevious smile on his face, as he pulls Alodo towards a human-sized padded cell inside a steel cube. Big padlocks are already at the ready to shut the cell once Alodo is inside.
Alodo, panicked, as he finds himself unable to resist: "C-C-C-Can we talk about this?!"

Jumpcut to night, with both of them now laying in bed, cuddling. Lockie, however, is completely wrapped up in bedsheets from head to toe, helpless against Kirne's loving embrace. He seems slightly embarassed by it, shivering slightly in his wraps, yet does not fight it either.

An "extra rubbery version" of Alodo as a maid. His whole body is now covered head to toe in a seamless rubber coverage, his arms and legs bound underneath, with some integrated belts tightening it all down. Every element of the outfit is now made of rubber. Yous observes with approval.

Turns out, Factorio can be a great catalyst for bondage.

"Generaladmiral asked: How about Yous helping with a healthy sleeping routine?"
Alodo in front of his computer, with bags under his eyes, saying "Oh BOY, I LOVE playing Factorio at 2AM!!" Yous stands behind him, unamused, holding a sensory deprivation hood.
The next moment, the hood is stuck on Alodo's head, who is now also stuck wearing a pair of thick leather mittens. He complains loudly. A shot of his neck reveals that the hood is padlocked shut on his head with a timer padlock. Similar timer padlocks are used to hold the mittens on his hands shut. All locks indicate a remaining lock time of 8 hours.
A small chibi Yous in the corner says: "There. Now go to bed. The locks won't open until morning."

Recently, @squeakyray.bsky.social has been putting in good work to bring Yous to the 3D realm, and teasing up a fun little rivalry between our OCs while they were at it. So with that in mind, I was surprised to notice I haven't actually drawn anything for that myself yet. Let's rectify that! ¬ᴗ¬

"SqueakyRay asked: What would Yous do if he met another rubbermancer-type character?"
Response text: "Yous generally seeks to create enjoyable experiences for the people they meet. So what they'll do depends entirely on the motivations of the other character. They could choose to cooperate, and to completely overwhelm an unexpecting subbie together, or alternatively, if the other rubbermancer so desires, they could also..."
Ray and Yous facing off at each other, sentient rubber forming behind each of them.
Ray: "Finally, a worthy opponent! Let's test our abilities against one another and uncover who the true king really is!"
Yous: "If it is a battle you seek, a battle it shall be! Prepare yourself, for I shall not hold back!"

Yous and Ray sit at a chess table and play chess. Ray just made a move.
Yous: "Ah, a most excellent maneuver! Of course, I expected nothing less from my most esteemed adversary."
Ray: "Oh, you mustn't dare flatter me so. I am most pleased to engage in this game of wits with such a talented individual like yourself."
Alodo sits behind the table, heavily bound and gagged. He seems both panicked and confused at the scene in front of him, letting out confused complaints.

Very soft and comfy, and you can even get a (somewhat) tight embrace going with them."
