Just putting it out there if a studio demands crunch that's a production issue with poor planning, over scoped project or not enough developers. Not a 'work harder' issue. If laziness is an issue you will never make it in games point blank.

Worked on making a PS2 style apartment recently. God I could work in this style forever, it's just the perfect balance of not too simple, not too complex. Plus it runs at 200+ FPS! UE5 is great when you strip back the expensive rendering features and just do classic models with baked lighting.

If you do union casework even for a little bit, you learn very quickly that laws do not stop people in power from doing illegal things. The only way to limit the worst of what they are willing to do is to build up enough worker power that they fear it more than they want to do illegal stuff.
