Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Like really. That blows my mind. Isn’t the whole point of the arts to connect with the ideas and experiences of other people?! Do these people really go through life just thinking “I know best” and never considering anyone or anything but themselves? What a sad, lonely existence that must be… 000
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 09/10/2026They strike me as the kind of people who self-pleasure themselves into social obscurity Have fun jerking off to the paint chips on you wall or whatever 🤷♂️ 000
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 09/10/2026I’ve been doing daily ~10 minute gesture and form practice Lately I started playing with inking and lighting afterwards when I’ve got time. I never inked until recently and I’m enjoying the process But I’ve been trying so many different approaches and struggling to find what styles feels like “me” 000
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 06/10/2026There’s a lot of moral and ethical issues to untangle surrounding LLMs but I think people need to learn to draw lines around what’s -healthy- personally, too I don’t see a lot of people considering or talking about how the further separation of human connection will lead to bigger social problems 000
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 06/10/2026If we look at all the mental health damage that’s come from the advent of living online and the reshaping of our physical involvement with actual people (ie: third spaces disappearing) and consider what AI is doing in that context… It’s definitely something people should take very seriously 100
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 06/10/2026AI as a replacement for craftspeople kills the need to connect with someone who can do the work AI as a monitor/automator/validator distances you from current and future clients AI as a friend, therapist, or relational partner isolates you from real people and the benefits of being with them 100
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Interacting with humanity gets to the point of what I keep saying AI is expanding social and connective issues We already see online phenomena eating away at social connection and AI accelerates that at a breakneck speed 100
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Protect the arts while letting these bozos cheat themselves out of a meaningful life I’m not great at anything but love learning everything. Game dev lets me dabble in all kinds of different problems. AI could solve in minutes what takes me weeks I’m sure But then what would -I- do? And why? 020
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Have a Mindy She’s very old (almost 17) but she’s a happy, good girl These days she likes warm laps and pets. She also likes to pretend she can still catch squirrels (but they just tease her knowing she can’t) 010
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I agree. Honestly it’s not that different at all until you hit smartphones era That laid the foundation for a lot of differences in how kids were brought up and how they think And you hush your mouth! We’re not old and irrelevant yet! 😂 110
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Definitely made up. But it looks pervasive online because that’s where it’s easy to instill those narratives Go out and meet people and embrace their quirkiness. I promise not only will it be ok but there are some really cool people worth having relationships with Signed, ‘83 Millennial 101
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 04/10/2026And what good are those commands if you never sat down and went through the process needed to build proper judgement? Your judgement is weak and unrefined which will translate to the output. Again, bleak So enjoy the act of doing and the connections you make while doing it 💪 000
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 04/10/2026We try, fail, adjust, repeat until we get it right while building deep value judgement on the way Eventually AI will do this too but the main point will still remain: What is the point in consuming something you can’t connect over? What’s the point of getting up just to bark commands? 100
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 04/10/2026AIs even when prompted continue to fail at this task. They take mathematical models and make assumptions based on what exists And even if you somehow convinced an LLM to extrapolate a brand new composition, it’s almost immediately dismissable They lack the judgement needed to see potential value 100
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 04/10/2026One of the biggest problems (ignoring exploited, stolen labour of billions for profit of a few) is that AIs can not create like humans do Humans compose. They take two or more ideas and combine them in a way that presents something unique and new by extracting whats valuable 100
Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Right? What do people expect? Wake up, tell ai to do all the things and then what? Sit on your couch and consume ai created media all day? Your prompt doesn’t have soul and your lack of struggle is devoid of connection What a bleak existence to never work for something and never bond over it 110

Vey @veysey.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Absurd. Wendy’s “The Best Combo Meal on the Worst Night of my Life”… We went to an out of province tourney.
