Do you have any headcanons for your characters regarding tails? Do they have any unique habits? #tavqotd Echo moves their tail a *lot* more than they used to before taking 5 points of dexterity damage from Orin stabbing them in the brain. It's how they maintain their balance.

#tavqotd Autumn approaches 🍂 Pre-game, Ria was traveling, trying to work her way south in case things went bad during the winter and hoping to settle for a few months if she could. Post, autumn doesn't matter much in the Underdark, except the spawn can be above ground for longer, and her with them

A black-haired drow woman dressed in blue and white smiles contentedly as autumn colors flood the landscape around her in what was once the shadow-cursed lands. Behind her, Astarion surveys the scenery.

#durgeqotd #TavQotd What scares your Durge more: losing their partner or being seen fully by them? Echo is more afraid of losing Astarion where that means killing him. They wouldn't blame him for leaving, and him choosing to stay without knowing what he's choosing means nothing

#Tavqotd idle animations Ria's are: playing her music box, tuning her lyre, journaling, working with her alchemy set

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

#TavQotD Does your original character open up to people? Or are they extremely guarded? Ria doesn't so much have emotional walls as an emotional labyrinth. She opened up to Astarion and Shadowheart, and she loves Wyll and Karlach. Opening up to the others took a long, long time.

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

#TavQotD how does your Tav/Durge flirt? Ria's inclined to light teasing ("You're sweet. And sillier than I thought.") which is part of why she and Astarion get along so well. She wants the conversation to feel like playing or dancing and wants a partner who keeps up.

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

#tavqotd What is your Tav's background? How did you choose it? Ria has the Entertainer background. I liked the vibe of a traveling musician/etc and how it fit with the slick social maneuvering I wanted her able to perform. Also, the inspiration events are largely perfect for her.

i feel about self-insert characters roughly the way i do about mosquitos. they are a vital part of the ecosystem (gets people creating with their own human brain!) and their existence is not a moral wrong (mosquitos don't MEAN to spread diseases) but dear fucking GOD they are annoying

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

#durgeqotd #TavQotd Which companion would they trust to kill them if necessary? Jaheira. It's why Echo brought her to the Bhaal temple. They wanted someone who had taken down a Bhaalspawn before and could, and would, end them if necessary.

#DurgeQotD #tavqotd Did your durge have a childhood, or did bhaal create them fully formed? I'm fond of the canon of baby Durge being left on someone's doorstep... and then Baby's First Slaughter. I embraced it for Echo, who had a lovely family right until they didn't

#KarkkiPlaysBG3 #bg3 #art The girlies!! I don't hate Karlach's outfit, it's very punk rock aesthetic, but like it is just nonsensical. I thought it would translate very well to lansknecht fashion with all the slashing and silliness. It does make sense to me that she wouldn't be wearing 1/4

#durgeqotd #TavQotd Does your Durge view their body as their own? Echo wants a hysterectomy SO FUCKING BAD

031

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

#durgeqotd #TavQotd Which companion's reaction to the truth mattered most to them? Wyll's kindness made Echo cry.

141

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

#durgeqotd #TavQotd What innocent experience feels strangely unfamiliar to them? Echo is new to (casual) kissing without wanting to bite the person's face off. And to petting kittens. They are a cat person these days and don't care about tiny baby talons. Feel your feelings, li'l guy. They get it.

031

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

#durgeqotd #TavQotd What does forgiveness mean to them? On some level, Echo doesn't know. A thing they earn, although they don't know when they've managed that. A thing they have no right to but desperately want.

031

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

#durgeqotd #TavQotd Does your Durge use the name of Bhaal as an interjection? No! Elegy was not the most religious of durges, but that's still their deity. More importantly, their father. But you do not attract Bhaal's attention casually without consequences. They reserve blasphemy for other gods

031

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

#durgeqotd #TavQotd How do they react when someone is afraid of them? If Echo is trying to intimidate the person or doesn't like them, the fear is delicious. They have a prey drive. That doesn't go away when it's a friend who fears them, they just feel shitty about it.

#durgeqotd #TavQotd Does your Durge believe evil is something people do, or something people are? Echo believed, past tense, that evil is inherent and fixed. They learned pretty quickly that they could resist, then fought to change. It took them a while longer to believe they could be good.

Lily Rose @vesperderolo.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

#Tavqotd Topic is mentors! Tell us about the person(s) who were central in shaping your Tav/Durge. Hari learned blacksmithing from a nice human man in a town in the ass end of nowhere— the basics, anyway. And then bandits killed him. She got her oath bashing their heads in with his hammer.

#TavQotD Describe a fun bit of flavor/some special details of your Tav/Durge's magic! When Echo casts thorn whip, the briar bursts from the center of their palm, through the skin, and leaves blood behind when it disappears. Their patron has a rose garden.

a pale, red haired tiefling with backslung horns stands on the edge of the platform from the confrontation with Ketheric as the Apostle of Myrkul's hand emerges from its center. The platform is covered in red rose vines. Myrkul says "I am Myrkul, Lord of Bones, and you have slain my Chosen."

#tavqotd What is your Tav/Durge's response to being told "Quick, act natural"? Most likely, Ria does not shift in any obvious way. She prefers to move as if she's supposed to be doing whatever she's up to. She's already acting natural. Keep up.

#durgeqotd #TavQotd What memory would they recover immediately if given the chance? Echo does not remember what their name used to be. They aren't sure they want to know, but... it's tempting.

#TavQotD with a favorite (SFW, likely to not need CWs) line from fic about your Tav/Durge for example "It’s doubling as a food source that does this to her, she reflects. The things one eats are not meant to be around afterward to have thoughts and opinions on the matter, nevermind the rest of it."
