The EU Kids Act will make private servers illegal as it stands now. Read up on the Act yourself: hub.edri.org/index.php/s/... Contact your MEPs, tell them to scuttle this bill, and sign the Stop Killing Internet Initiative to ensure the protection of our digital spaces: eci.ec.europa.eu/066/public

All hands on deck! Ross explains how the EU Kids Act could end #StopKillingGames by collapsing the EU gaming market! youtu.be/mQRcK9nYg9g "The best thing you can do is spread the word...The people who write this crap do not like it when the public at large knows what they're trying to do to you"

This could legitimately end Stop Killing Games.

breaking news! there's a chance that the recompilation of someone's favorite game is made with GenAI even if the creator has coding experience! in other news:grass is green!

deep-fried low effort fake ads that someone slapped together to take up space and amuse themselves and their colleagues knowing 90% of players don't care or notice are so much better than anything automated

My favourite thing in this genre is the DVDs from the original Dead Rising, which until about a year ago were somehow completely undocumented online

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "Pulsating Garbage" depicting a disembodied eye above a garbage bag with a pair of crows silhouetted in the foreground

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "My Dog, The President". A golden retriever wearing glasses and a suit with a red bowtie stands at a lectern in front of an american flag

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "Laser Baron of Jupiter". A dorky guy in a weird ruffled pleather-looking jacket stands in front of Jupiter, wielding a bright purple ray gun in each hand

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "I Married My Own Pants!". A sad looking blonde man cradles his head in one hand. Behind him, a pair of disembodied sweatpants

to nobody's surprise, Doom. Especially Classic Doom. THE reason why i started modding stuff with more effort since 2022, why i try to improve my skills at creating stuff (be it art, sounds and even models!), and why i'm here. it was just a Doom95 shareware that got me into this years ago...

vivi’s take of the whenever: counter-strike is a cool series that got ruined when valve made it heavily focused on esports/competitiveness and also added gambling. CS 1.6 and CS:S are quite fun from what i’ve played with friends and i wish people recognised that more.

Rally Vincent, Licensed Bounty Hunter, at your service! A short but extremely sweet adaptation of the manga with a killer score worthy of any 80s buddy cop movie from jazz drummer Peter Erskine. 📺: Gunsmith Cats OVA, OLM, 1995

A screencap of a scene with a suited Rally seen from the front at a tilted angle, aiming a pistol and holding up her ID. Minne May peeks in from a skylight above.

If you are starting or planning to get into doom modding. Here are a few tips. -Start work on small scale mods. -Get your feet wet by trying some coding or graphic work. -Its okay to ask for help but be respectful. -Collab with other modders to help you understand stuff. -Don't be a dickwad!
