FWIW, Ken Paxton is a deeply flawed candidate, who has had a significant amount of his dirty laundry aired. Some people seem to think if Telarico wins, its the start of the purple-ing of Texas. I think this is far more similar to the Roy Moore/Doug Jones 2017 Senate Special Election.
